As a 2000s kid I grew up listening to his tunes, and have been since 2010. It's unfortunate I haven't found anyone that enjoys this type of stuff along the way. The nostalgia... simpler times. I get into profound thoughts while listening to deadmau5 tunes, and who wouldn't? It makes you wanna dance but also makes you wanna think... I just love deadmau5 music.

I used to be such a Jaded young man. That all changed when I got Alone With You. I Remember when I first saw you. I was Faxing Berlin, more specifically, my Contact, Glenn Morrison. Something about a sci-fi book we were writing, the working title was HR 8938 Cephei. Anyway, one of the papers I was holding would Slip from my hands. There you were, the most beautiful person I had ever seen. You were leaving the shop so I didn’t bother you. It was October before I saw you after that, but I had thought about you often. I made a lot of progress on my book, the official title now being Phantoms Can’t Hang. Anyhow, I had just left my friend Arguru at the airport so he could go to Brazil. I was out walking my Pets, two small dogs. On that walk I would trip and cut myself. I couldn’t stop the Bleed, so I went to the hospital. I walked in and there you were. This cut was an Intro to the Next Song, one where we both would be together. You took my information and told me to Stay still before you helped me. My heart racing, I was thinking of something to say. I know I had something, Somewhere Up Here in my brain was something I could say. You fixed my cut and stopped the bleeding. You told me I was free to go, in that moment the Strobe of emotions was too great. I had one shot to ask you out. So my only question is, would you like to get dinner tonight?

I saw Deadmou5 in 2009 Lollapalooza. Lots of other bands too. My dad just got out of the hospital today because of Covid and I'm just listening to this thinking of him. He's only 48 and he's already been to the hospital before because of it a couple years ago He's the one who planned for us all to go to Lolla. My husband has Covid too. My son also needs his sixth knee surgery and he's 8 years old. All this I found out since last night at 11:30pm Saturday. It's 5pm Sunday. Too much in a small space.
