Gail here ! Misty really likes you , Jordan, and Adam the Woo. I do, too ! We often discuss ya'lls videos ! I really follow your Sharon Tate's videos . In August 1969 I had just moved to England to join William who was in the Air Force . I was spending one of my first overnights alone when I started hearing in German in the middle of the night Sharon Tate. I couldn't understand anymore of it . I got the fact that she was killed, but not how . This was on the radio . Of course by the next day it was in the newspaper . The telly wasn't on till afternoon . A lot of stuff just got divided before and after the murders . I found that the country was really divided . For the first time you knew you weren't safe in your own home ..

Shelley Manne probably one of the Greatest Jazz Drummers around. He owned the Manne Hole where greats like Art Pepper ,john Coltrane Miles Davis one played. Very Very Famous in The Jazz World. Not a dive by no means. Great Video Scott!!!

I have had that John Lennon album since I was 14. I'm 61 now. A great album! It has "Whatever Gets You Through the Night" on it. A Christmas gift that I was thrilled about! I was and still am, a big fan of John's. I cried so hard when his life was cut short. 😢

I used to give my grandma Jean natte as gifts. She loved that smell. One of these days I will send a box to you guys. Mom has a lot of things you would like. Love the videos Scott!

Hi Scott, Been watching your channel for over a year now. Love old Hollywood. Just a point of interest: Rock Hudson starred with Burl Ives in The Spiral Road. Burl Ives played a missionary doctor and Rock was an atheist. It's one of Rock's best I think. It's pure drama.

Scott you just left us in suspense , Terry Mann , claims he was at the house , Scott wonders off to another subject , then says Terry Moore claims he was at the house and then again off to another subject then says Terry Moore claims he was at the crime scene and then never finishes where in the heck Terry Moore claimed to be !! LMAO , Okay I am assuming it was the Manson Murder House ??? We'll never know .... Love you guys !!!

Dennis Yost from the Classics IV married my cousin, Linda. She does good work with the Dennis Yost Severe Brain Trauma Foundation Awakening. Never thought while having an oldies radio show in the ‘80’s & 90’s that I would be playing music of my future cousin (in-law).

I cant believe you were at Princess Dianas funeral...wow incredible....wish I was there . My grandfather has just died and being a Detroit Michigan suburban mom , we had to drive near Alpena. Ossineke to be exact to bury him. .we did and that night .. I heard late at night that Diana had died. I swear just as hard for her as I did for my grandfather....broke my heart 😢😂❤

Oh my goodness and what do I see a great big picture of Bobby Sherman. Talk about a flood of memories. You know there is nothing more joyful in an old gals life then remembering the intensity of the crashes that we had late 60s early 70s Tiger Beat boys. Well to be honest I do recall some very intense crushes during the late 80s and early 90s find some extremely adorable hair band frontman.

I meet Hepburn when I went to Berklee college of music in the 1980. I knew the Boston Conservatory did free practices, so I went. I arrived and I saw a woman riding up on a bike with a basket with flowers on it. I asked her what do I do? My first time. She said follow me and I did. I did not understand why everyone was giving her such love? Then when I left, the director asked me? Do you know who just sat with? I said, “Nope.” He said Mrs. Hepburn. She was fantastic and through out she would point out music to me. She said, “Best to you.” And she got on her bike and drove off.

The Buckinghams have a LOT of great "deep cuts" - that means songs that were NOT hits - but some of them are even BETTER. Their last 2 LPS are the best of their output . Like the Association ; there was a LOT more to them than their hits (UNLIKE The Rolling Stones - all you need is the "40 Licks" double CD set. Or the Mamas and Papas - all you need is their Greatest Hits) . Some bands - all you need is their Greatest Hits .
