Her vocals were horrible.

You can blame the band too. The drummer for one couldn't keep a rythim. There were also missed chords. You can't blame her fully, but musicians have a bad day.

OMG so glad that I’m not the only one who thought that! Of course I absolutely ADORE HER and I FULLY understand That performing LIVE ESPECIALLY is sooooo difficult !! But when I read the comments, every single one was “may have been her best performance yet/ or / omg her vocals are amazing this time “ But I honestly (hate to say it) but I honestly think that she was either Over exercising her voice too much OR she was out of breath and nervous… but she hit some AMAZING notes but in between, she sounded so out of breath and SINGING at the COMPLETE wrong pitch… like I said, I absolutely love her and have done for YEARS since I can remember (in my 20s now - But learning what she went through and the fact that 1)she’s still here *thank the lord for that* 2) she overcame an overd0$3 AND that’s just a couple of of things! But the fact that she still got up and out there and gave an amazing performance And to be quite honest, MOST other celebrities/ singers/ artists would have 100% added either a STRONG/ loud / backing track OR had backup singers/vocals either present on stage or prerecorded so tbh I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEE that she is who she is and I’m so proud of her because others would have crumbled and never would have returned to the spotlight after what happened and here she is as beautiful and as real as ever ❤❤❤ But I have to be honest only certain (and varied) parts were strong/amazing and beautiful but most was so shaky and off tone 😮🥹😳❤❤ but props to/for Demi for making it as good as she possibly could ❤ P.s. Her voice is beyond amazing even still after everything- I just meant for the people saying that vocally it was her best performance those confused me because I thought that she seemed filled with anxiety inside no matter how well she hides it in her performance, you can always hear it in a persons voice (like when you get a lump in your throat and your voice croaks when you’re about to cry if that makes sense?! ✨❣️❣️

She used to sing better in the past but she’s still great especially her high notes.

She still is able to project her voice, but it doesn't sound as full as before. If you listen to the same songs of the past, you can hear the difference. Her current voice sounds thinner

​@@Syn741that doesn't make it sounds bad and it's understannable because she sings rock. Name any Rock singers who doesn't sounds thin and piercing above E5. Even for a chesty singer like Pink will lightening her voice pass E5 area for being able to sing with more stamina and freedom.

@@Syn741 Thinning is *important* in belting on rock genre because there is HUGE AMOUNT of upper notes. Also every notes in rock song is very agressive. There is a reason why every rock singers are thinning their sound pass F5. It's to achieve more freedom , flexibility, and stamina.
