Over 30 million Chinese perished in those atrocities, alongside countless others in Asian countries. The Japanese government's failure to apologize or provide compensation, coupled with their continued reverence for war criminals, is a stark reminder of the persistence of racism and injustice. Let us unite in saying "never again" and stand for equality for all. Free Palestine!

This made me weep with gratitude for the courage and solidarity among of all these protestors. Thank you.

I'm Palestinian and watching this gave me goosebumps and made me cry. It gives me so much hope to see so many people who care; who dare to do the right and courageous thing in the name of humanity. I lost 44 members of my family in the past 6 months of genocide and yet lately I have more hope than ever for Palestine and some real sense of justice. It seems like the world is awake now and refuses to let this go. God bless each and every one of you. Your solidarity is saving our lives and our sanity.

What does this materially achieve? Awareness, thoughts and prayers? Protests in your uni is preaching to the choir. It's not like Israel will stop bombing Gaza because a uni said so.

Wow. As I listened to this heartfelt shrewd declaration, I heard a person 100 feet or so say something I thought was kind of disparaging as if in response to my listening to report while sitting in LAX and it was hurtful to hear; I won't repeat it. Even the Israelites of the old testament had their generational breaks for instance moving from the wilderness administration of Moses to the "possessing" administration of Joshua and Caleb. Perhaps this current conflict is that kind of inflection point in Jewish history. No "ism" is eternal; "isms" are a means whereby: so the Zionism of the late nineteenth century that blazed the path for diasporic Jews and such to return proved useful then, now perhaps an all encompassing Internationalism will bring about the peaceful co-existence within Isreal/Palestine's border, a sentiment I have seen expressed so many times over the past 20 years on the bumpers of cars passing by on streets and highways in the US and Canada. Whether or not the ism of the past is seen in a new light of being nevertheless it served it's purpose and it served well. Perhaps it is in fact a new day, it remains to be seen. The Zionists of yesteryear would beam with delight to know a new generation poised to bravely take the reins to unearth a new chapter of Semitic resilience.
