Tanjiro as a main character is so unique to me. He's such a kind hearted guy with such empathy, I sure don't question why I love him sm. He's kind but not too kind to spare the lives of the demons that have been living and killing people for a long time but also he's kind enough to mourn and wish the demons to be reincarnated in a world where demons doesn't exists. He understands that demons are also just a victim of circumstances but that does not stop him to do what is right: kill them. He also give so much importance of his family bonds that he's so admirable. Idk but I love this type of character sm. He may be overshadowed by some cool badass characters but for me, he still remains the best.

I remember crying during this whole fight. I had already read it in the manga and was impatiently waiting for it but it blew my expectations. Visually beautiful. Sonically beautiful. Emotionally beautiful. Quite literally the ultimate package for an anime.

I love how this song is called "Kamado Tanjiro's Song" because the lyrics definitely described his personality and his goals. I also love how the lyrics are what people have said to describe Tanjiro before. Like how the lyrics "A sound so beautiful that it makes you want to cry" is what Zenitsu said when he met him. The lyrics of "Even if all is lost and all is failing, you have no choice but to keep living" is also what Tanjiro said to the guy who lost his fiance in his first mission. This is honestly just so good. Edit: this got many likes so fun fact: I actually just realized this when Tanjiro's voice actor mentioned it in the Kimetsu Radio where they shared thoughts about ep 19 together with Zenitsu's va. In the radio, Tanjiro's VA talked about small details abt ep 19 too that it made me smile bcs he sounds so passionate telling it to Zenitsu's VA, it shows just how he loves KNY too.

They are willing to risk their lives for one another because they are the last of their family, which makes them so strong. When Gotōge Koyoharu first watched this scene in ep 19, they wept due to how well it was done. It must be incredibly fulfilling as a mangaka to have your work adapted by people who are as passionate about it as you. Many mangaka don’t experience that.

I remember watching this for the first time. Back then, no one I knew was into anime that much, and no one told me about the existence of some insanely beautiful episode in demon slayer. The moment Tanjiro's sword broke, and he unleashed the final form (the water dragon), I thought that was it, he was just going to win like a normal mc- and then he was at a dead end, started to remember his father, and this song started playing. And it continued, until he was this close to win, and I who rarely gets moved, did actually feel something. I want to experience it again 😔

Nezuko reminded me of my sister. She has mental confusion and symptoms of schizo. When she got confused and she started fighting against herself to control her mind, me and my parents crying. When met psychiatrist, psychiatrist said her brain is okay and she doesn’t have any health problems. It has been few weeks and now she’s getting better and back to her normal self.

This song really just explains what Demon Slayer really is!!! Its beautiful.

When Kazumi yell at Tanjiro "how can a kid like you understand pain" then he looks at his hands and his affectionate face and realizes that he carries much greater pain inside yet he smiles, after it Kazumi breaks down and starts apologizing to him! You might think that's a trivial scene, but that scene broke me into pieces! It reminded me of how many times I misjudged and blamed people for their behaviour and vice versa without understanding what they are really going through! Please let's all be better to each other! That's how we all protect that something we have!
