Derrick Rose's prime performance was awesome

As a native Chicagoan I gotta disagree. CP3 is exponentially more cerebral than Rose. Being a PG you need to think the game more than you play it. That's CP3s edge and his game doesn't require attacking the rim as much which saves wear and tear on his body. Considering the types of injuries they both had in their career I'd have to say they are both as fragile it's just that CP3 can still be himself and Rose shouldn't be trying to dunk as much anymore.

Over the years the "definition" of point guard has changed. I was a PG in high school, and I played like CP3 & Magic, the floor general game. That's the way we were taught the game. Other than the cerebral aspect of the game, Rose was better. I only compare players at their "peak powers", and for me Derrick at his peak was a bit better than CP3 at his peak, especially considering Derrick never got a chance to surpass his "year 3, MVP season". Dude was just getting started, when it ended. So yeah, there is the "Magic" type and the "Iverson" type of point guard. Give me a team with a bunch average guys and I'll take Rose. Give me a team with some good shooters scattered about and I'll take CP3. (BTW, I remember Rose used to give CP3 the business EVERY time they played. Same with Westbrick, Curry, Kyrie, etc.)
