The saddest thing about this is that this insanely well done video with great visuals, storytelling and story in the end is made for/with shein. So much lost potential of what this could've been and I can't really enjoy this without second thoughts unfortunately

The storytelling, the collection, the stop motion, the colour grading, the editing, everything is on another level! It's impressive to see you getting better and especially experimenting on every video. The only downside that I can find is that this is a collaboration with Shein which is one, if not the worst actor in the textile industry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Hi Gawx, I've been a fan of yours for a long time. I find the incredibly interesting and high-quality camera work to be great, and of course, your artworks are equally excellent. This video, like others, is a masterpiece; however, I was quite shocked by the choice of the sponsor. Surely, it's much harder to start a clothing brand from scratch than to participate in the SHEIN X Design Program. Perhaps you're not aware of who this sponsor truly is. Therefore, I'd like to list a few facts about why Shein is a problematic company. I want to mention upfront that I don't know everything and can't cover it all, but even a brief search on UKposts yields enough videos that underline the following facts. Shein is an ultra-fast fashion company, which means they aim to produce as much as possible, as quickly as possible, and as cheaply as possible. This happens thousands of times a day with all sorts of designs, and it should be evident that not all of them can be their own creations given the scale. That's why Shein often steals designs from smaller, unknown designers who can't fight back and don't receive any share of the sales themselves. The headquarters of Shein is located in Nanjing, China, and we truly don't know what goes on there. The same lack of transparency is reflected in their production. Many employees work without secure contracts, are underpaid or not paid at all, and have to work incredibly long hours, with shifts of 11-12 hours a day, 7 days a week, and only one day off in a whole month. Another issue is Shein's supply chain, which is not traceable, making it unclear where materials like cotton come from. Shein simply isn't a reputable company, and I believe it's clear why I have an issue with the sponsor and why I won't be buying anything from the collection, even if it looks incredibly appealing.
