It’s easy to see how a horrible detective can screw up an entire investigation. The female investigator has to be one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time! Sliding the phone across the table, yawning and making weird faces like a teen girl would! She is horrible at her job.

they're letting her work on it, on a big case so yeah it's kinda dumb. She's not as bad as the female cop I witnessed being told multiple times to pull her taser. She was on nonlethal, but decided to just walk around like she was casually waiting for an ubereats. She never even pulled taser, forcing her male partner to use lethal force on a woman running at him with a nine inch kitchen knife. I think it was donutoperators video, but female cops in the field are much more dangerous in my opinion. That police department is now being sued for wrongful death, and because of that female cop failing to do her job, I believe they have a decent case. This situation will end in this person going the mental hospital route for the rest of her life, but even police are short staffed sometimes.

@SupremeGrand-MasterAzrael 4 місяці тому
It isn't that black and white you don't need to worry about that. The things you mentioned have to be considered against a baseline behavior. In an interrogation like this, police always start out observing how you act before they ask you questions. They need to see how a suspect/interviewee acts "normally". If they observe that you don't make eye contact and speak very deliberately, they will factor that in to their analysis of your nonverbal communication. If using a lot of qualifiers is something that a person does in low stress situations or questions; that person using a lot of qualifiers in a high stress situation or questions is less likely to be a sign of deception. The same goes for lack of eye contact or facial expressions. Or even if someone displays "nervous" behavior or self-soothing behaviors. All these methods of detecting deception must be used in the right context to be useful.

I know my opinion doesn't matter much, but I think the male investigator did a great job here. He kept redirecting her concerns of 'ha-nging herself' to the idea that she is just recounting truth. It must have made her feel comfortable thinking that he believes her story (56:30). Also, stacking questions might not be a bad tactic. He introduced her children in one line of questioning that may have been too much for her, but by stacking the questions it allowed her not to answer it. Then later when he asked about the children again he didn't stack the question. But the introduction of the topic was no longer as shocking as it had been brought up before (57:03).

Too many times have I come to the comments only to find people making petty, demeaning, and dismissive remarks and starting arguments over the most meaningless points. Anyway, I completely agree with how effective the male detective's tactic was. By introducing the topic of the kids in a stacked question it cushioned the landing for when he asked her directly. Great point Drew! I really hope more people like you keep commenting on videos and those who start the 'boys rule girls drool' stuff learn to let all that go RIP in kindergarten where it belongs. 👍

He made it feel like it was a “judgement free zone” and they were just clearing their minds. Unburdening themselves. Like when he was having her reenact the fight in the car and told her to put her foot up on his shoulder and then encouraged her when she put her shoe up there like “yes girl! There you go! Now keep talking…” and she seemed to really enjoy that approval he gave her. Daddy issues lol. Just kidding about that last part. Well, maybe…she did talk a lot about her dad and when Jimmy asked for money from her dad, she lost is apparently

In regards to the stacking, I was thinking this myself, that he could give her brain a question to think about, and then bring it up later.

That was exactly my thought! Like she did draft 1 and 2 with the interrogation and trial and now she’s finally worked some kinks out with her storyline…

When i hear these stories of people cutting off people in pieces and stuff i often wonder what the fck were they thinking while doing all that??!!!! That doesnt sound like an easy thing to do, on top of that, the horrible sight of a person you know looking like this omgggg it sends chills to my spineeeeeeee damn, how can they try to continue with their lives after all that? 😵‍💫😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The female investigator did way too much talking. She didn't give Angela opportunities to respond or get a word in edgewise. Sitting in silence will often make the subject uncomfortable and they will fill in the empty space.

I agree, she also was kinda aggressive right off the bat. The more comfortable the suspect feels the more likely they will tell the truth, right? 😅

Pretty amazing how "straight to the source" this channel gets (referring to the letter they got from her). But it happens in a lot of the vids, and I am consistently impressed.

She talks about how much she loved her children…people who love their children don’t do drugs, don’t murder someone and confide it to a 14 year old child. And she wouldn’t make them live in total filth. That house was disgusting!!!🤮

She was on antipsychotics, so she was very clearly not mentally stable. That doesn’t mean she didn’t love her children.

The moral of the story is. Don't talk to cops without a lawyer, and don't murder people.
