Smitty is definitely a SERIOUS student of the game and understands how to win with leverage in scheme. He demonstrated that repeatedly on the field, and it's how he won his routes so often. Same with Mac Jones.

Funny thing is Keenan Allen was committed to Alabama before changing his mind to play with his brother at Cal and Smitty was committed to UGA(and caught the game winner in a NC against them) before signing with Alabama. I wish Allen would’ve kept his commitment and played alongside Amari Cooper. That would’ve been a thing of beauty.

I always forget that Max and Stephen A were at one point actual journalist and had to really excel in their field to get the job that they have, and then I watch an interview when I remember. Jones is an excellent QB and many/most fans don't understand why or how. They were being honest. Tua is not as good of a pure passer as Jones. And I like Tua a lot.
