Would zip ties along the rear brake hose that runs through the frame be an effective substitute for the foam tube, to prevent rattles? Thank you for the very helpful, clear and precise video tutorials.
@ridesofjapan

A brake hose is most likely too stiff and heavy to be held in place by zip ties alone. You can make your own damping material pretty easy yourself though: ukposts.info/have/v-deo/iJ9kpod4oKOjpYk.html

Nice! 👍 On the Partslist for the Di2 Wires 1400mm for the Handlebar. I plan also to put everything inside the frame an handlebar but is 1400 not to long for the Handlebar (junction to the left shifter)?
@ridesofjapan
@ridesofjapan 6 років тому
Patrick Katzmair I thought so as well. I had the 1400mm already and tried it, and while there some slack to stuff into the ends , I reckon it actually helps with the rattling. You could probably get away with 1200mm... but I definitely needed more than I thought I would... handlebar with + 20cm or something like that won’t be enough... those drops at long 😅

Hey man, would you recommend using internal foam damper for the Di2 cables instead of the Di2 wire holder clips for dampening sound inside the frame? I've seen in another video where a guy used Jagwire foam damper for the Di2 cables and housing.
@ridesofjapan
@ridesofjapan 3 роки тому
the foam tube is made the brake hose... I don't think it makes too much sense using it for the Di2 cable... I guess you could but the cable clips work great, and if you for whatever reason need to remove the cables it's easier just dealing with the clips in my opinion.

Marc Bautista that sounds like ports for di2 indeed.
