The whole sliding-down-the-chair-in-despair thing is quite familiar to me, and I appreciate content that shows what engineering is really like. Joe manages to strike the perfect balance between entertainment and reality. A video diary of the entire process probably would not be much fun to watch, but I don't want to see just the successes. If I were on an engineering team with Joe, he would be the one who kept everyone going even when nothing was working.
