However, I have heard him use both surnames. Think about how difficult it must be for him to please both both father's. Despite of any conjecture, I still give Combs credit for treating all of his kids the same and keeping the family as one. Footnote: Although Carl Payne (Cole from "Martin") didn't adopt Landon Brown (dad Bobby), he always referred to him as his son when he married his mom. He played a larger role in his life than Bobby Brown for years. Only until Bobby blew up and Landon got older did he embrace his father more publicly. While Bobby sloppily tried to keep his children together, it was Whitney with all of her issues, encouraging the relationship of all Bobby's children to know each other. She stepped it up more with Bobbi Kristina was born. I think it's pretty cool when grown ups embrace the children of these fractured relationships and just let them be kids.

On another topic, I loved Bobby Brown in his prime but offstage he appeared to be a nut. Even New Edition was sick of him. People were so quick to label Whitney but she appeared to love his children and take care of them. I didn't watch "Being Bobby Brown" when it came on TV (working these 2 pesky jobs 😩), but I have found some episodes on the Internet. It was painful to see the destruction of Whitney but you can see the love she had for Bobby, Bobbi Kristina and his family.
