The Kerala BJP chief is in a three-cornered fight with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Left leader Annie Raja.
Contesting against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and CPI’s Annie Raja from Wayanad in Kerala is BJP Kerala state president K Surendran.
Surendran was recently in the news for his remarks that Sultan Bathery, a town in Wayanad, should be renamed Ganapathyvattom.
In this interview with Dhanya Rajendran, the Kerala BJP chief talks about why he believes the party has bright chances in the state and why it endorses the movie The Kerala Story. Since man animal conflict is a major issue in Wayanad, Surendran was asked if he would push for amendments in the Wildlife Protection Act which had been a long standing demand of locals and the Kerala government.

Surendran was photographed eating Kerala parata with beef roast. He came with an explanation that it is Ulli roast (Onion roast), so social media gave him the name Ulli Sura. During Sabarimala protests he was photographed using Hans (Thambakku/nicotine intoxicant), social media gave him another name Hans Sura. Moreover, modi is providing petrol, gas @ Rs.30/ltr and gas cylinder @Rs.300/-. Modi is a very helping hand for the poor, like Adani, Ambani, Ramdev, Mega Engg, pharmaceutical cos. He is also trying to extend free ration to all 140 crore people, except a few poor families including Adani Ambani Ramdev and his near and dear ones.
