I find it so fascinating how each country's language has it's own flavour. Talking in a second language (or 3rd +!) is a commendable feat! One of my faves is the Croatian accent, it sounds really cute. I wonder how I'd sound to natives from other countries should I speak another language?

Löw is probably the worst example for a German accent you could have picked, because he has a strong local accent when he speaks German. That is like using Ozzy Osborne as an example for an England accent. If you want to see what a more general German accent looks like take Angela Merkel for a sufficient speaker's accent and Jürgen Klopp for someone who's been living in an English speaking environment for an extended period of time.

I'm Brazilian, I'm also used to hear the English accent from my friends in Argentina, Mexico, China and Australia, still my favorite foreign English accent (after the British one) is the russian and german, 'cause their R pronunciation looks somehow stRonger.

Once we go out our country we can notice how rich is variety of way to speak we can find. The indonesian seems a bit with czeck accent, but czecks are trickier to understand, at least for me, brazilian.

Spanish dialect is really difficult to understand in comparison with my dialect ( Persian). Persian dialect just sounds funny and weird but it can be generally understood. But spanish and french dialects are really difficult to understand !!

All the accent are almost similar... Any language in this world can be spoken differently by different person, flow may be different but theme is same...any language especially english can be drag into the accent of ones mother tongue accent...This is the beauty of British Language ❤️

my favorite foreign accents are german and russian. (i like them both for opposite reasons) i like how germans separate. every. word. some ppl think it sounds robotic and unnatural, but i think its cute. and russian accents tend to have a nice fluent flow to them. russian speakers tend to pick up on the flow of english better than most other foreigners. (though grammar can be a hurdle) something that surprised me in the comments is everyone saying french is their favorite. i always thought french sounds like someone trying to talk with a mouth full of marbles. its nice most of the time, but is often unintelligible.

I've seen this among Japanese people who speak English....they leave spaces between words more instead of filling the dead space between words with 'uh', 'erm', etc. Is it because of the shorter syllabic form of the language?

my 3 favorites are back to back Mexican Japanese Russian They bring such a fun element. (Not necessarily in these examples but they're iconic to me) Really though I appreciate and salute everyone who has learned or wants to learn English and I am honored and proud of your effort.
