This is a dream come true for Dimash. He shared that, at the age of 5, he had a VHS of a concert by Maestro Domingo. He dreamed from then to now to meet and work with the Maestro. This was part of a program called Virtuosos, which supports young classical artists. Dimash was invited to be a judge on the program by Maestro Domingo. Notice at the beginning when Dimash is getting ready to sing you hear the heartbeat slowing down before stopping then Dimash sings its like the passing of life to be greeted by the angels. To me this is the closest you will get to heaven without going there. Even though this isn't the Catholic Prayer version it still gets the message across beautifully

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

I saw him mis a note that didn't come out, he did a retake and he over achieved the second time hitting his famous D8 note this was in Unforgettable Day Gaku performance, he was quite young there, but that's really the only time I have seen him miss and his mistake turned out to be extraordinary and infamous 😂

With Dimash, there are no wrong notes, however he does some runaway vocalising in concerts, and in the Gakku version of Unforgettable Day, he missed a note a did a correction that will astound you. There are many fanvids and made up explorations of his high notes, long notes, young songs, growth in range and technique as he matured and learnt over His 25 years of training, by fans/Dears.
