Using their remote is a more premium experience than the typical streaming remotes. They have the most channels so its more expensive but they also have top notch picture & sound. Overall its been my favorite streaming tv experience out of them all.

I just returned it. The android operating system was horrendous. Not to mention that I could not use the one in my bedroom. For some reason it could not connect to my router.

DVR function is crucial... Can I pause live TV?... How long can I pause live TV?... Is it fully functional anywhere in the country/world that I can get fast internet (hotel, motel, RV, vacation house, etc)? ... Thanks!

I experience the random loss of connection w Streams for 2-3 seconds. Sometimes the connection comes back sometimes it doesn’t. The dongle is connect to the SAT port on a receiver connected to a surround sound system. The network connection is very good.

Given the price of each is Competitive, we Prefer DirecTV Stream Interface, dedicated Box and usability, plus, you can at least reach Live Representatives…

You are missing a ton of channels on DirecTV Stream vs DTV Satellite. No Music Choice. Picture Quality is subpar compared to Satellite. I have both. Streaming lags about 15 seconds compared to Satellite. Easy decision for me.
