The judges judged it right though. They had it in split decision in favour of Gib. It was the clerk who wrote down the final decision and for some reason put it as majority draw

Why is no one talking about this very obvious error and instead complaining about the judges who literally gave it as a win for Gib even if they didn't give it as obvious of a win as it was.

It’s because the 50-46 was to Holder which implies it was uncontested to him where as the 49-46 were to Gib which implies contested which makes it a draw, a real bullshit rule in boxing. Basically 1 if not all 3 judges were paid off

Bruh the judges literally scored it as a win for Gib by split decision at the very least. According to boxing rules those scorecards HAVE to be either a split or unanimous decision. Stop slating the judges when it was the clerk totalling their scores that messed up in the end.

The scorecard they gave him literally had 'majority draw' written on it even though it's impossible for it to be a majority draw. So it's the fault of the clerk who writes down the final scorecard and hands it to the announcer. I don't know why people aren't bringing this up because it's an obvious rule breakage
