@@paulw858lol honestly she is too allowed. And I applaud her for walking out.I thought the plot sucked and even slept some during this movie. The only thing good was the special effects. Which were at least equal to the effects in the first one. The first one had a much better story line.

Nah alot of the best horror movies usually come out in late summer 😂 even stranger things does. I think it's a marketing thing and also so there's time for manufacturers to make Halloween costumes if the movie is popular enough and it's enough time for you to watch in theatres and buy the film to watch near Halloween. 🎃

If it does good may be in theater until late September October only a few months away. Hopefully it comes to Disney plus for Halloween!

I can see it being played again around Halloween in the drive-in theaters, too. 🎃👻 The movie out on Blu-ray would also make a great Halloween gift or movie to watch together for a sleepover.

Five Nights at Freddy's comes out in October so it wouldn't be smart from a business standpoint to release HM close to that.

They every once in a while do this for some reason. I use to think they were meant for the afternoon but I guess not. It just seems like poor marketing when people start going to sleep at this time. Edit: For me, trailers always often release at 12pm, with the occasional 9am, 10am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. And this of course excludes events like the Super Bowl and award shows.

If you pause on the shot with the ghosts and Owen Wilson, you can see a few of the characters in that shot. The bride is pretty obvious, but the pirate is behind her to the left. Could very well be getting all of their stories.

Why is he not a mega-star? I’ve never understood that? LaKieth Stanfield, I mean? Every performance I’ve seen him deliver, whether dramatic, funny, or all stations in between, he nails it. He’s a subtle actor, with massive charisma and a Sean-Connery-like fascinating face that people love to watch. Why he hasn’t been offered the leading part in more block busters remains one of life’s mysteries to me? And, if it’s got Rosario Dawson in it, I’m pretty much in anyway. I adore her, in that shallow, illogical, male, smitten way, that’s capable of forcing me to adopt irrational arguments like, “maybe she had a good reason to club all those seal pups to death and everyone just leave her alone!” (I hasten to add, she has never clubbed any animals - adult or pup - to death, to my knowledge, at time of writing.) For me it’s like I was over Grace Kelly or Debbie Harry when I was a pre-teen kid. I just go all googly eyed and start dribbling on incoherently about modern standards of beauty and romantic poetry whenever she’s on any screen. She’s another one who’s been around too long for the mystery of why she isn’t an, “above the title,” star to be satisfactorily answered without suspicions of racism being a factor in her career trajectory to creep unbidden into the back of my thoughts. Sure, I’ll take the family to see this one. It looks fun and I liked that little kid’s unusually naturalistic performance. Where did they find him? Was he as good as he seemed in the trailer?

Well, thats not all the shareholders do. Not only do they make money off the hard work of others, they can also lose money off the hard work of others, as well. Hard work doesn't guarantee a movie won't bomb. Actors get paid whether their movies make money or lose money. Studios only make money if the movie is successful.

The studios are recording record profits for themselves and shareholders while those who made the films are being paid less and less. It is really unfortunate that all who participate in benefit
