- He listen to the advices of his wife - He loves his wife and his kingdom - He said to her "oh my love, Rosas is so lucky to have you, as am I" with so much love in that words Where's the evil thing Disney? Because I don't see it...

I really wish the movie would have dig more into Magnifico's personality, especially because of this scene. Clearly, he loves and cares for his wife but he lets his own ego and fear slowly suppress that love, and once he chooses to use that book, there's no turning back for him.

I love this couple's dynamic! It shows that even good people with good intentions can fall down a dark path given certain circumstances. And Amaya's choice to help Asha and her friends shows that even loving someone shouldn't stop you from doing the right thing. She's a true queen!

I'm rushing to comment here before this gets marked for kids like "Once Upon a Studio" just did, but I did love their dynamic at the start, and that Queen Amaya really did want the most for Magnifico AND her kingdom, even despite what happened at the end. It is just a shame that him being enraged enough to losing the power he had made him lose everything and do what he did.

People was hating because his villain song was to playful. But this man was a menace❤❤❤😊

It’s really unfortunate what happened in the end. I know we didn’t get much out of Magnifico and Amaya as a couple. But this scene was clear that they did actually love each other. Too bad Magnifico went on a descent to madness. But at least Amaya chose to do what was best for Rosas in the end.

Saw this again today. It was a packed theater and got applause at the end. Disney, y’all might wanna ditch the traditional thanksgiving release date for a December/winter break one next time.

Really wished that there was a spell to turn him good like he used to be. It was the the people in town that made him mad, and he felt that they were using him to get their wishes

Honestly I personally feel like this scene could have been so much better if Queen Amaya was a villain too like the original plans were. I feel like it would have been cool if Magnifico was just egotistical but still cared for his country only to be coruped by forbidden magic who was also being minipulated by Amaya. When watching the movie she felt too nice and way too open with the things going around her and it just coukd have been an amazing reveal if she had betrayed everyone and was pulling the strings the whole time!

Even though I appreciated Amaya doing the right thing in the end, I wish they kept them both villains because it would've made an out of the box revolutionary twist to classic Disney. We could've had a villain couple, people! And it would've been great to get more background on why Magnifico becomes evil and what the book is about also where he got it in the first place! When he started crushing wishes, it would've made the plot more dramatic if the peoples actual lives were connected to the wishes and crushing them would kill them. I know that seems dark for Disney, but would've been interesting to explore.

I like this version of this queen. She was originally a villain. And although I would have loved to see a villain power couple. Will get that in other Disney movie. I like the concept they chose.

Wish is so awesome and grandiose! The return of 2D and magic! ❤️❤️❤️ They worked so hard on it! It's incredible! It has its own style (like the firsts Disney) which is so beautiful, the 2D/3D mix, the format which is the same as Sleeping Beauty, and watercolor painting style, which can make think of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, I love! 😍 The characters are all so cool, Asha and her friends (representing the 7 dwarves), I love Star because they gave him Mickey's personality and facial expressions! 😍 The songs are so good, and the music is super powerful, certain musical notes remind me of the first Disney, it's so cool! The story is so beautiful, and super worked, with all the additional references, making wishes meant so much to Walt Disney! Wish is perfect! For the 100th anniversary it is perfect! ❤️🎉🎉 So many emotions! He has such positive energy, it feels good! So moving, catchy and funny! The mix of old and new is incredible! An original story full of magic and the return of 2D! It's a true love letter to Disney movies but also to the history of Disney and Disney fans! ❤️❤️ When they say in behind the scenes "a movie that's giving this love letter to walt" is so true! 😭 This is such a beautiful love letter! 🥰 Thank you Disneyanimation this is what we want to see and feel! So cool! Wish is a real gem, a true masterpiece! It's a perfect tribute to the 100th anniversary and to Walt Disney! It’s magnificent, whether it’s the style or the story (wich has real meaning, about something that was important to Walt Disney) It made us laugh and move so much at the same time! The characters are endearing and funny! Asha with his friends (representing 7 dwarfs) real heroine. Having made the star a character like that is so moving, Star has Mickey's personality and expressions, it's adorable! Magnifico is a real villain, worthy of the firsts Disney villain! The references to other films are super cool and the direct ones to Walt Disney are super moving (especially the "wishing tree")! It reminds me in many ways of old Disney! As an absolute fan of the entire Disney universe and of Walt Disney, I was extremely moved by this film, it transmits great values defended by Disney! It was a great moment, funny, moving, full of dreams, love and hope! Thank you for making this film! It does a lot of good! 🥰😍💖🌠✨🐭⭐🌟

I read on twitter that a villain can't experience mutual true love because he only cares about himself. I agree. What you did with this king is wrong, your writing is awful and I'm happy it flopped. He was in love and was a kind man, you didn't need to gaslight viewers into hating him just because you read online that people missed villains. This guy's not a villain. Shame on you for pulling the same old stunt of making a character silly just so people are forced to agree with the protagonist. We want justice for King Magnifico. He's a sweet man that loves and loves to give. Please apologize to the kindest character you ever made. We want that, not this.

Im be real, Id totally be down for both of them to be a villain power couple and in this Amaya is both stoping Magnifico from using the book because its too dangerous/ them not been strong enough to wield it, and also to keep the balence of power between them even.

I really wanted to like it, it just needed to take a bit more risks.

They're so sweet 😢❤️ It would have been even better if Magnifico had received more character development and if Amaya had been given more importance and appeared more frequently in the film. The fact that he threatens her at some point is already sad, but if we had witnessed them in more scenes together with their dynamic, and on top of that, seeing that threat, it would have been truly heartbreaking. The poor guy truly deserved more character development and a satisfying conclusion that did justice to him. Nothing would have improved if the film had in fact ended up relying on romance, as many suggest, falsely believing it would enhance the movie. This perspective only reflects shallow personal preferences rather than a genuine interest in the plot and characters. What the film truly needed was a strong belief in its own narrative and characters. It had all the potential to become a remarkable movie; furthermore, the decision to abandon 2D animation due to supposed limitations was unfounded, as other studios have clearly proven otherwise. Disney, as a company, seems to have lost sight of the true essence of art and lacks respect for it...but god, I love this scene xd

Best Disney villain in a long time. The queen is very brave standing up to him. Amaya did the right thing protacting the kingdom and i love how quickly she befriended Asha when they met.

So I like the movie how it is,for a one time watch, it has a few good songs,but that's it. MY Headcanon,well thats another thing🤡 for once we have asha and star boy(I love this shapshifting nonbinar cutie pie) and we have magnifico as our villian(same as the original) BUT Amaya will fight for her love. Basically she will remind him of his for love her and visa verca and remind him that they love there Kingdom. SO we have one couple where asha falls in love with a star and star falls in love with her(One conflict) and another one where amaya is just trying to smack some sense into her Husband. I know cliche 100% but I love the couples and I want them happy 🥰 Oh and a few fixes with simons betrayel, when the wish got crush they will fall in a coma(Kinda like sleeping beauty)
