1:28:54 fun fact: this image is actually an edited photo of a Halloween prop/animatronic called spasm. It was a big figure that when touched with medium force would trigger lots of shifting and shaky movement topped with creepy shivering and gargling sounds. And yes this image was used for the russian sleep experiment.

As a little kid I didn’t know that the scary maze game just automatically triggered the jump scare I assumed it was just a consequence of touching the walls so I’d play the game over and over to try to get to the end without the junpscarw

Fun fact: In 2011, Texas removed the "last meal" request for those who are to be executed because of Lawrence Russell Brewer's order, and what happened after receiving his order. Among the items requested were - 2 chicken-fried steaks smothered in gravy and onions, a triple-patty cheeseburger with bacon, a pizza, one pound of barbecue meat with a half loaf of bread, an omelet with ground beef and vegetables, three fajitas, one pint of Blue Bell ice cream, a tray of peanut butter fudge with crushed peanuts, and three root beers. The request was very expensive and unbelievably absurd, but received his meal nonetheless. Upon receiving his ridiculous order, Brewer stated, "I'm not hungry" and did not touch any of it. Thus, Texas no longer has the "last meal" option 🤣

Some other last recordings that haunt me: GOL Flight 1907 - A private plane that accidentally had its collision avoidance system turned off (long story) clipped the wing of this passenger jet. It broke up in mid-air. The pilots were terrified. PSA 182 - After a miscommunication with ATC, this flight rammed into a Cessna underneath it. You can hear someone in the background say "ma, I love you". Japan Airlines 123 - The single deadliest airplane crash. A faulty repair to the tail made it break off mid-flight. The pilots bravely kept control of the plane until it ran into a mountain. Comair 3272 - After flying through icy conditions, the pilots failed to activate the de-icing mechanism because of an outdated training procedure. You clearly hear the captain say "holy shit! We're gonna fucking die!" Germanwings 9525 - Co-pilot locks the captain out of the cabin and commits murder-suicide. The cockpit is silent while the captain is banging on the door and exhausting all his methods to get in.

Just a clarification: If you ever wondered why a website that's barely disturbing/not disturbing at all is so low on the iceberg, that's because a common missconception about icebergs is that the lower you go, the more disturbing it gets, instead the iceberg format places more _obscure_ stuff the lower you are, meaning that if literally only one person in the world knows about something that's not disturbing at all, it will still be put on the very bottom, because literally noone knows about this

The granny hotline service made me tear up. My Grandma, who I called Nanny, was everything to me for the first 20 years of my life. She was like a second mother to me. She introduced me to all of what would become my future hobbies. The granny on the phone didn't sound like my Nanny at all, but the pure love, joy, and innocence resounded in her voice the same way my Nanny's did. It made me really happy but really sad at the same time. Especially since I don't have anymore alive grandmothers. In 3 week's time from the time I've posted this comment, she will have been gone for 2 years now. I miss you, Nanny. I just know you're having the greatest time in Heaven. 💖

I can explain the ice chewing thing. When I was a child, I had anemia (very low blood iron levels). For a while, I was constantly craving ice. I would be freezing in the middle of winter and couldn't stop eating ice. Then I went to the doctor and they gave me iron pills. I took them for a while and then suddenly I had no desire to eat ice. It disappeared completely. That's why (some) people eat ice...

Fun fact: The person behind the Goodbye to the Dolphin's Dreams website at around 1:34:47 appears to be vocaloid producer/musician ATOLS. This artist has a unique experimentalism and surrealism to a lot of their music, so it checks out that this website follows suit. It's a pretty great website to say it was made when they were a teenager

I remember a website years ago, there was a doll that you had to give directions to and it would do it, but as it went on it got more and more grim. Two of the ends I remember was it crying in the corner and another was it slitting its wrists. It was a website for mental health and abuse I believe.

I'm a little tardy to the party, but Reagal Films was involved in producing a lot of shoddy-looking mockumentaries. Most notably, an unproduced film titled _A Day With Spongebob Squarepants_ , which gained a lot of notoriety back in 2015ish for how strange and uncanny it looked. Internet sleuths investigated, found out it was connected to Reagal, and eventually discovered that the film never existed. There's a few strange things about Reagal; supposedly their website had a virus, their headquarters was in the back of a mall, and they had several fake names (like "Inovisim Films" as seen on the cover of _A Day With Spongebob Squarepants_ ).

The ice chewing website cracked me up because for about 4 years I was addicted to chewing ice. I’d think about it all the time. Eventually I found out my iron blood count was down to 3… low enough it caused a heart murmur. After I had iron infusions I never thought about chewing ice again. It often does relate to vitamin deficiencies.

You don't understand how important this video is to me. I have been searching for this one website for YEARS. My sophomore year of high school, in 2017, I stumbled across Mouchette. It was extremely fascinating to me, and weirded me out at the same time. I forgot about the website for a bit afterwards, but a couple years ago I wanted to dive deeper into it. When I was 5? years old, I encountered the scary maze game. I couldn't read english at the time and the thumbnail of the game looked like a fun game so I clicked it. the death penalty is more expensive than life in prison, and people facing the death penalty still have families that will, in most cases, be even more torn apart by the complete loss of that person on top of what they already did. not to mention there are in fact a lot of people facing the death penalty who did not do the crime and were convicted on a false confession or a stacked case. the solution shouldn't be "kill them" as if they're objects. it should be to decrease the rate of false conviction and disincentivize murder as a means of s**cide, reform the criminal justice system and make better accommodations in prisons. after all, the point of prison should be rehabilitation, not locking human beings in a cold box and forgetting about them.

z0r wasn't designed to be "a white screen with random music", each page used to be a random flash animation, usually short and looped, and the site hosted thousands of them. It'd always be random- either something funny, sometimes hentai, or even gore. Probably not too important info since it's still on tier 2 and everyone wants to see the ultra spooky stuff.. but RIP Adobe flash

Not sure if death date is the same site I'm thinking of but there was a website you could input a bunch of information such as how often you drink/smoke, if you have an active life style, date of birth, gender, weight, etc. It then takes that info and uses it to check various death records to calculate various dates of your death. Such as people with your life style on average live 45 years, 7 months, 16 days. Then uses your dob to guesstimate.

The plane recordings are more than likely from black boxes. A recording device in the cockpit that records constantly and sends out a distress signal to be found if the plane goes down. It's usually the way they piece together what happened

Just wanted to add some info about "Have You Seen This Man?" (because even to this day, I still people mentioning it, but I've only ever seen one video reveal the actual story behind it). It was actually an ARG made to promote a movie (can't remember what it was supposed to be called). However, apparently the project was cancellled before even a trailer was made. One of the scariest moments of my life was waking up to the DVD menu from the movie "Skeleton Key". It had the creepiest voodoo man recording and the sound of an old record player skipping. This was on a loop being repeated over and over, while I was coming out of a deep sleep paralysis. This was like 10 years ago and it still sticks out in my mind because of how creepy the vibe was waking up in the dark with that haunting sound. Just look up Conjure of Sacrifice if you want to be creeped out too!

I got the complete Monty Python's Flying Circus DVD set a long time ago, and falling asleep I found something strange. If you wait on the menu of any of the discs for long enough, the episodes on the disc will play. So I had the odd experience of nodding off during a particular sketch, only to wake up during the sketch that came BEFORE that sketch. It was a surreal experience, to say the least.

I haven't seen a lot of talk in the comments about Hekate Station and Obsidian Snow so I'll share what has been dug up so far. There is a certain puzzle that reveals a password for a .zip file which when unlocked reveals about 30 individual pictures of skulls in some ditch or cave in an unknown valley as well as a hooded figured I believe wearing a skull mask. The website definitely has a meaning, but it is so heavily encrypted that we may never know. Edit: I would definitely recommend doing an individual video on this topic as there is a lot of Eastern Pantheon mythology, mysteries, and codes to discuss.

I was a tad bit shocked that he didn't mention that at all since pretty much every source I have seen for it in the past few years mentions/clarifies that it was a marketing campaign. I fully understand some info slipping through the cracks when making something of this magnitude but like the blatantly neonazi site mentioned in other comments, it is curious that he didn't seem to notice it when making the script. I'd be willing to say the most interesting thing about "This Man" is the fact it was supposed to be a movie and that really gets the mental gears turning. I'm generally really prone to fear but I still find this stuff super interesting. I can't handle jump scares and they'll end up shaking me for weeks on end. Takes me a while to recover from sudden shock like that. As many others have said, I greatly appreciate the jump scare notification at the beginning and your efforts to make the experience as interesting as possible. Skyway Bridge: I went to college in Sarasota FL, and every time I'd fly home out of Tampa, I'd have to cross that bridge (if it wasn't closed due to high winds). It's a popular enough "jumping" spot that there are actually red phone boxes every few feet at the apex of the bridge, and they directly connect to the unalive prevention hotline.

seeing pizzagate come up in videos at all is always so jarring, especially with the pictures. for reference, i live right near comet pizza, and me and my family have been going there since i was a little kid! they have ping-pong, and play movies with a big projector sometimes. the atmosphere is great and the pizza is FANTASTIC. they're still going strong and we order a pizza from there every friday, still. my default is olives and pepperoni, but i used to go all out with mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, sausage, and artichokes. no matter how you slice it (lol, pun intended) the place is great. no secret dungeons, but the bathroom DOES have a secret door to get in! it looks like a big stack of logs. there used to be a dope mural of a bunch of pandas in mexican hats on the bathroom wall (not sure what that was about), but they painted over it. it was pretty sad.

My ex suffered from severe cutting and self harm. Not little scratches for attention. She literally died multiple times from blood loss and needed transfusions. She went to a rehab for self harm and said everyone there constantly chewed ice. She did too, even later when I knew her when she had stopped. Something about it helped her get over it. She was passionate about ice chewing and would have huge cups of crushed ice at night.

This sounds silly, but this video solved a mystery for me. there was a meme of a spooky manga panel and I tried to find it. to no avail. turns out It's the one you covered. I am so happy I decided to randomly watch this video. Another thing I would like to share is my pica- my condition- I crave to eat non edible or non nutritional foods. Crushed ice is a massive one for me. I also have very weird cravings that are harmful even when nutritious so I have to make food that satisfy that urge. Like raw meat would be replaced with sushi or medium rare steak etc. It might also be a factor in lack of iron which my mom has severely and passed down- could be a factor.

One of the main issues with the death penalty is that it doesn't really threaten anyone, because the exact reason most people break the law is because they either have zero choices otherwise, or they think they're the ones who will get away with it scot free. Furthermore, it's ironically more of a drain on resources since the cost of setting up an execution and burial is higher than just housing them for life. If the amount of people entering prison is the reason why it should be kept around, maybe the question should be "Why are so many people in prison to begin with"

Death penalty isn't for "threaten anyone", but for punish properly some monster and "eliminate" the danger forever. Or would you like someone like Ted Bundy still be around, able to be released at any time, simply by the will of some judge? The big problem with death penalty is the corruption of the judiciary system, which makes a great chance that it will be used as some sort of revenge or to eliminate political enemies

@@Scruffy-qi3ik The idea that they deserve death for killing is an inherent inequality in this case, because if you're defending the death penalty you're also defending giving these slimebags the easy way out. Capital punishment is literally engineered to be painless, but the people you're talking about who "deserve it" for killing people typically do it specifically to cause pain and misery for their own ego. Within how the current standards for humane treatment operate, they don't deserve death. They deserve to rot in a cell until their natural demise, with the knowledge that what they did will ultimately become a tiny footnote in history once the five people they've affected directly learn to move on and themselves pass away. They deserve to be forgotten. Of course, all of this also assumes all of the people put to death are infallably found to be violent criminals who hurt people for their own pleasure. Death row tends to be padded out with nonviolent offenders, and i'd say people don't deserve death for possessing (Not selling, just possessing) certain drugs.

The Regal Films part might refer to "Reagal Films", which is a mysterious film company which "made" the unreleased fan-film A Day With SpongeBob. Reagal Films is pretty shady. At one point, the website contained a trojan virus, so that could be what the iceberg meant.

@@Sassy_Witch It’s a huge rabbit hole. A Day With SpongeBob was a fan movie that was found on Amazon, but couldn’t be bought, so people online tried to find the origin or even footage. This lead to a huge investigation where they contacted Reagal Films who supposedly helped produce the movie.

I just got to that part and wanted to come back to this comment to add my own input. A lot of the "indie films" he mentions are actual films shot, produced abd distributed in the Philippines by actual studios (well, relatively speaking). Most of the titles shown (Pamangkin, Third Eye, Tiyanak to name a few) are horror films.

problem is DVDs have a max quality of 560p and limit of 4GB. Blu-Ray is far superior, max quality of 4K _(8k theoretical)_ and hundreds of GB. At least on the streaming services you can choose the quality you want and have access to stuff when they come out, usually before DVDs do. I used to rent/buy blu ray discs and use a PS3/PS4 to play them.

The Bong-Cheon Dong Ghost scared me SO bad!!! I managed to fine it on a site where I was able to go through the jump scares super slow. There’s actually a part 2, 3 and 4, not related to the first story at all, but just the same type of set up and just as creepy of a feels.

I got a lot of reports on housecreeps for DEA awareness of an Oxford house I am familiar with but not the fact that someone died and OD there, in fact the house is now named after him for loosing his life to substance use disorder in said house and none of that was on there so it's very hit or miss. But still blew up with lots of reports of other houses in the area

If you ever do something like this again, I'd recommend setting up a virtual machine to browse through some sites that seem unsafe. It's not too difficult and there are many guides on it, but basically you won't have to worry about contracting viruses and can feel free to download and run things like those audio files or executables.

вообще если диск виртуальной машины полностью изолирован, то вирус напрямую передаться не может, однако есть шанс, что он распространиться через виртуальный ethernet кабель. Короче все зависит от самого вируса, но большинство простенькие, так что их антивирус поймает
