Nice! I am now doing a project with the same sub drive! But for fullrange I am using 8x 1,25" drivers. And I will test YDA138 vs tpa3118pbtl vs ta2024. You can use sound absorbant only on one of the 2 parallel walls in a cabinet. Also, it looks like this is the sub speaker used in the apple homepod, which is about 15x17cm, and I think it is about 1,5 liters sealed box. I am going to try that.

A bit tough to make but anyways an amazing video. Its only a suggestion though if you'd like to put in some glass wool or sound enhancing material to get a deeper bass output. If this is a give away I would really like one. Thank you for the project video

So I'm trying to do a 2.1 build, but I'm having trouble choosing the amplifier. The speaker units I'm using come from a 300W system: 2x 85W + 130W subwoofer. What if I can't match the amplifier to my speakers? Should I get an amplifier with a higher W rating, or lower? What would be the side-effects of using lower or higher?
