"Elytra" is actually pronounced "ELL-it-tra". In real life they're the hard external wings that a beetle has, and they protect the beetle's actual wings

you actually do pick up everything in order! if you fall or teleport into the items it works. the reason it didnt work is because when dropping items, their destination wont be the same.

Build a tower 24 blocks high, place a rail on top, place a pistone behind it, place a minecart, in the spot where the minecart will land, add a watterlogged top slab, get in the minecart, place a button on the piston, push the button, and you'll get the death message: "death.fall.accident.water"
