I wish helping dogday was a secret option, seeing this was very wholesome and placed tears on my face

Can you imagine the chase with the little critters? After strapping Dog Day to your back, dozens of the little critters came out of various pipes, screeching in hunger and rage. Not wasting any time, you leg it out, firing a flare to disperse the crowd and buy a few seconds of space. You feel Dog Days fear and shaking as he's watching the little critters give chase, their empty, void-like mouths and soulless eyes wide open, begging to have their fill. For several moments, that was how it was, the critters coming out the tubes left, right, center, down below, up above, but you never slowed down. At the end of a corridor, you can make out the hand rails of an elevator, with a ledge in between. Sprinting harder and with the critters merely a foot in between them and dog day, his own fear reaching greater heights of terror, letting out screams of terror. With a few steps left, you switch your right grapple arm to the thruster hand, shooting down at you feet the the ledge, the critters only inches away... and the door immediately closes and cuts off 2 of the critters heads, falling to the pit below as you land on the elevator, Dog day still on your back. You both stay still in silence for what felt like an eternity as you hear those demons behind the door, crying out that their feast has been taken. As the noise finally dies down, Dog day lets out a sudden sob of relief, glad to be free from that nightmare. But it'll only continue from there.

I wish in the game this was a timed option for you to save DogDay. Instead of it being another cutscene. Seeing this just lifts up my spirit.

I would just imagine getting Dogday out of the chain then let him follow us by crawling (since he has no legs) or carrying him like a backpack

Dogday deserved better, he is the only character i truly feel bad for. All alone, chained up, controlled as a puppet to the small creatures. I hope he will get a better ending and get rid of the critters in his body

Although our character doesn't speak literally, I felt sorry for the poor guy being there and it even crossed my mind to take him out or give him a gesture of respect so he can pass on to a better life.

If this was the true ending, Dogday would’ve been able to truly smile.
