We live in the Manistee forest and there are dogmen and bigfoot. Also pretty sure other cryptids too! Don't litter in their home....crazy the garbage people leave out here.

I’m from Michigan. I tell you what. The U.P. is a perfect area for anything Dogman/Bigfoot related. Lots of swampy desolate areas. I swear one of these days I’m going to see one or the other on the highway heading to Tahquamenon Falls.

I think the same when I go down the reservation at night. My daughter and I think we saw a Wendigo on our way home one night during a snow storm? We thought it was a deer and then it stood up by the trees. The prints in the snow looked like it was dragging it's front hand or hooves whatever you want to call it? We were so scared and when we got home we heard a scary like scream/screech? So now I try to be off the Rez at night. Lots of scary things out there happening.

We didn't have a visual but we had one roar at us at our barn in Manistee in pitch dark and we could never explain how massive it was and of course didn't get it recorded. It was scary and had to get our blind dog inside. It did about 8 to 10 roars.

What happend to the sister in the Insomnia story happened to me, I was around 8, and saw an apparition, but more ghostly, sitting next and then laying down inside my brother, some years later he would tell me that he saw the same happening to me from the other side of the room... my heart skipped a bit when I heard this story... fuckin hell.

Michigander here too and we live in the Manistee! Dogman and Bigfoot and more live here for sure. We have had noise encounters as 1 we fled on our 4 wheelers as it git close. That was before i knew they were real but i had my first run for our lives in my life!

Grand Rapids area Michigander here and I had to listen to this. Paulides, the original missing 411 dude also has some great Michigan stories and not just the U.P. area. Actually one story close to my uncles home in Kent city...a REAL creepy one.

95° and beautiful outside.... Must've been a dry heat 😂. We all know how swampy MI can feel with that temp and 80+% humidity. Also the U.P in general is a strange yet beautiful place. Don't go into the woods at night though, as it's a whole different animal. Something is always watching

I am from Michigan, and the story about the phone calls from Sam got my attention. In 1984 a family member would play with a ouji board with their friends, at the time the rest of the family did not know this. To make a long story short, later on my family went through some accurances. We were told that during their ouji board sessions an entity would call them on the phone….. its name was Sam. It makes me wonder if it was that same number from the story, Sam came home with my family member and tried to end me. I thank God that I am still here today.

I’m from Ludington and can say I’ve felt like I was being watched while walking in the woods at night although that’s what it is, a feeling. The freakiest thing I’ve come across is foxes laughing at 2am in swampland.

From northern Michigan and still live here near the Manstee national forest. Ive seen 2 Dogmen and 3 Bigfoot in my life time here in northern Michigan. Call us all crazy but these beings are very real. Go to Dublin General store in Wellston Michigan, they sell lots of Dogmen and Bigfoot stuff such as Tshirts, etc because its such a big thing up here and every year we have more and more sightings. Many of us feel that these creatures migrate with the salmon and steelhead that run in the Manistee and little Manistee rivers in the fall and spring..

I'm right in the heart of it. Pine creek is on the west side of my property with the big manistee 1/2 mile north. I've only heard them twice in 40 years..... but when you do heat them you don't really want to again. Creepy and scary as hell, something you never forget.

Michigan has the most iconic & beautiful farmland in this country, i have ever seen. Maybe I'll move there . I am seeking to purchase farmland to relocate my farm out of California . Illegal Squatters burned my last farm & home down. Vintage buildings & barns are a plus. I open myself to feeling the echoes of the past imprinted on old items & in old structures. That is how i make peace with things.

The whole "white snow" thing might be a regional or local term. Here (Maryland) I only ever heard it called static, fuzz, or sometimes snow, but I never heard it specifically called "white" snow.

I just recently had to visit Warren and Eastpointe for the first time in almost 2 decades. I grew up in that area and while it wasn't a wealthy area by any means back then nowadays it's just straight ghetto. Shootings, robberies and carjacking are epidemic.

I grew up on Manistee River, from the headwaters all the way to lake Michigan! I can tell you a half a dozen stories, and all of them involve dog man or Bigfoot and the Manistee River basin!
