There are so many tips & tricks to see! Learn how to strip stain using household chemicals and without spending hours sanding. The blonde wood mimics birch, ash, & maple and works in a wide variety of styles. You can also re-stain the wood a new color.
I also changed the function and look of the piece by easily converting it from a cabinet to a hutch for displaying minis. Enjoy!

My name is Tony Roberts and for the past three years I have been building Dolls Houses. I have built well over 200 and I donated every one of them to the local Kindergartens and Day Care Centres. I have just recently decided to stop construction of them and start to take it easy, at 81 I guess it’s time to relax.

I HATE that bright faux cherry finish! When it's applied during the manufacturing process the pieces are sprayed, heavily, with the stain and after dry they're dipped in clear varnish and that's why you sometimes see pooling at the bottom or heavy drips. It must be a requirement for mini making professionals to wear pajama bottoms, slippers, and the "must have accessory" cat hair. 😂 I too am currently...🤔 well...always actually, wearing black pajama bottoms, black slippers, and brightly colored mismatched socks. That's just how I roll 😂😂. The cabinet looks amazing and I am so enjoying your Patreon channel! I'm currently looking for the double sided industrial strength carpet tape and hope i can find it on TEMU. Also, I haven't forgotten about sending the clock pic email 🥺 it just seems that every time I set down to send it I am interrupted and then my adult a.d.d kicks in and the next thing I know I'm repainting trim 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣

I should have done a better job explaining how hands off this is. It took just a few seconds to spray the oven cleaner. A quick rinse and scrub for a minute, then another coat. If you've ever used stripper or sanded something to bare wood, this is 20x better.
