This is the greatest thing to come out this year. You really captured the essence of friendship and pure joy of what you do with each other. I... couldn't have said it better myself, I agree with every word in this comment, and I would've said something else to the COLLAB CREW, if there was anything else to add except this: (Summarizing a library-full-of-ancient-books-level-of-worth into a few words, in a brief comment, can be a real challenge sometimes... But... since I, well... can't really post a painting, and it'd take me a while to write poetry about how I feel about a) this VIDEO and the CREW(s) behind it, even most of their other uploads, collabs and individual stuff, out of which I've watched anywhere around probably 90% of, over the past year or so... well) Hm. Yeah. "Compress a Library into a pocket book, then recite the pocket book in a Twitter post... that is limited to what, 160 characters?" or... "Describe why 'Mona Lisa' is considered a classic piece of art to a deaf-mute and also BLIND person, simply by touch..." Any of those two, seems almost easier to accomplish, than expressing how I feel about these ladies and gents behind Halocene, Violet, Lauren, and well... F211 as well... hehe... thought I'd forgot about you and Cole? nah... just joshin'... I mean... There are artists.... and performers... Then there's this crew.... ...they spawned individually, somehow were meant to connect -> collab -> form bonds -> make magic together -> blow some sense into people's minds with the excellent musical choices/selections, and thump joy into their hearts with their combination of unique talent and skills.... I am one of the biggest fans of Halocene and these collabs they do. They are nothing short of amazing. When I heard the individual vocals, my first thought was: "how will those ever mix well together". To my sincere surprise .. boy was I wrong! (and I love it). Not a single bad word from me, about any of the vocalists. They each have a unique voice and sound great (and so did the other artists) .. but that voice of Lauren Babic .. DAMN!!! That lady has a voice! In over 4 decades, I've witness my share of great vocals, but not that many like her's. All in all: what a wonderful collaboration .. and I am very grateful for it popping up on my today's watch list.

This is probably one of my most favorite things I've heard all year, absolutely worth staying up this late to catch this glimpse of!! The combination of all of the talent in this video is mind blowing. I know you did not mean it in a bad way or anything. She in fact is also wearing make-up. This is fine since she and everyone else in this video should just record the video how they feel most comfortable. They all have great voices and they all rocked that cover.

Jesus lord almighty, I've watched/listened to this song. I still am suprised at the amazing amount of talent in this video. From editing, harmonies, and just pure unadluterated talent. Y'all are all so inspiring and truly awesome people. Congrats on 12 years( a little late)!!

I've seen so much over-production in the world of art as a whole: I've seen photographs processed to an extent where the soul of the image was lost forever. I've seen videos where the post-production was taken so far that only the veneer of the original concept remains. I've heard covers and collaborations that distance themselves so far from the essence of the song being covered, that one is left to just shake their head. THIS...THIS was the most moving, compelling, soul-filling, piece of ***ART*** that i've seen in over 20 years of critiquing, creating, and consulting. There was never a moment where the original song's essence was lost. Rather, in its stead, a new generation's sincerest tip of the cap, a showcase of exceptional skill from every member who participated. If in 100 years the Rock and Roll museum doesn't showcase Journey's most famous song, with your rendition alongside it, it would be a tragedy. I cannot adequately convey what I'm feeling at this moment. I cannot recall a moment in my life where I've been moved by music in this way.

Agree totally with you... i am impressed... More and more brilliant young musicians with unlimited skills are invading our planet. In Canada, with bands as interesting as Motion Device, Sina in Germany with incredible (and in continuous growing) young talented friends, Andrei Cerbu's ecosystem of projects in Romania with extraordinary female singers (latest, Romina Apostol is... no words...) Awesome guitarists as Mark Ostro, Jasmine Star, Tina S, Baby Saster, MelSick, Ayla Tesler... Genius as Rob Scallon... and more, and more...

The whole song was this incredible build-up of emotion, even though it's a song I've heard and belted out my entire life. Your various vocal styles interleave into the last 10 seconds, and from 4:46 to 4:56 is just harmonic perfection. I can distinctly hear all four women in their own styles and emotion. Out came the tears of joy, as happens when it's the first time you hear something that you know you'll want to play over and over again for years to come.

I first heard this song in a video with three young sisters playing it as they cleaned out their stable. (Edit-Dekalb farm sisters) The little one, about 11, was mesmerising- she and the others just picked up the song and rocked along with it, with their brooms and rakes. They became a part of the song. Singing into the broom handles. Gliding around each other and the stable room... small blonde rock angels. They nailed it. They NAILED it. Forgive me, but that same energy for me is here in this video. It hasn't been cleaned out of the music or the singing... the message of whirling around that stable in riding pants and riding boots, pounding the floor with their heels, eyes closed, unaware of anything except belting out that song with all the right beats and breaths. We were all young kids in a stable once, concentrating so hard on the perfection of letting go and pouring it out like Lauren and the girls, controlled but galloping hard. She remains in me, and came to the surface just now. Thankyou so much. I forgot how much I needed her.
