Because on the surface of public television & news, things look cheery and people assume someone’s doing something out of the kindness of their heart. But it’s really a trade off, Trump wants to get the popular vote among minorities, either post election or possibly for the next one. Kodak and Wayne are in tough positions & Trump needs that vote, so it’s a deal. Tbh it’s hard to tell with Trump, cause he seems like the kinda guy to surf twitter, look-up current news & feed and decides to intervene.
