Better Idea: Having no fence gates and being normal fences, but covered in carpet, That makes it so the mob of choice (in this case a chicken) cant to through it, but Players can.

“Everyone has a room in their house for their chickens.” As someone who tends to make underwater bases, yes, I have a room for as many land animals as possible. Specifically the chickens cause they’re the easiest to get into the house.

I usually just put the chickens on top of a hopper and incase them in glass. It could be the size of the room though. It only needs 4 blocks of height.
