When I first heard about the secret 2017 rainbow coin, I was like "The dirt piles actually have something?!" Didn't know about rainbow coins as a kid, because you don't need them to get all the upgrades.

"Geez I'm really running out of crystal coconuts" I mean it's not like you skipped them constantly

I remember that dirt patch making history! I hope to never forget it and always go back to it on playthroughs. I was one of the ones that didn't know it was there. Thanks Scykoh! It feels like you had to cover that so thanks for doing so.

I was one of those kids that loved to bomb, shoot, whatever object in a game to see if there was a secret and so I knew the secrets of the dirt pads, but remember it being like an obvious thing (of course it wasn't). Was super surprised to find out it wasn't common knowledge. 10 year old me wasn't so stupid after all.

This series is going faster than expected. Such a huge game but I think there's less than 12 episodes left!

I remember struggling so much as a kid with the dark ledge section. The camera angles made it so difficult!

I have seen a human do a double backflip like Diddy Kong. Maybe not nearly as high (keep in mind, video game gravity is a joke compared to ours) but argubaly more impressive than what Diddy did.

I actually found that little dirt spot in that fungi area when I was little. I noticed it while walking just as you did to show where it was. I remember assuming it was that dirty pile and just doing that slam attack and bam!! Rainbow coin! 😳😳Crazy to think no one knew that until a few years ago lol

A hint for the pitch black areas of the game when you shoot your weapon it creates light. Using that light in the dark areas can really help.

The first few notes of Fungi Forest (Day) sped up a bit is the same tone as when Link finds a treasure chest

16:02 I forgot to mention it sooner but i used to so the same with Diddy's wheels aka interrupting mid-animation with a jump. I liked how to it sped up to get him quickly on his feet. 18:51 Hm, i dunno. I used to shockwave from time to time just for the sake of it but i don't have a clear memory of finding this coin... I might have though since it sounds familiar to me and it wouldn't be crazy of me to shockwave on these high grasses by whim. I dunno...
