What's even more messed up about Spider-Mans passing is that his "Spider Sense" must be going crazy during that moment. *DEAD* *YOU'RE* *DEAD* It's why he's freaking out so much before even having a part of him disappear. He knows death is coming and pleads to Tony for help. He's still just a kid in Highschool. That scene hit me hard.

Me personally, I would've used the blasters on Thanos' eyes and gone to town I mean, dude's a titan and Quill is only human-- if he really wanted to do some damage while Thanos was in such a vulnerable position, that probably would've been the most realistic thing to do I don't know exactly how durable Thanos is, being that he's (as far as I understand) a Deviant and/or an Eternal(? or whatever the Eternals are), or if he has a healing factor, but I feel like some point blank energy blaster spam might do some permanent damage while also taking a huge blow to his combat abilities

People shit on Quill a lot, ( It is still his fault ) but you gotta remember he did the exact same thing in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and we cheered. When Ego said he was the one who gave his mother a tumor Quill had no hesitation of attacking a *god-like* entity. The exact same thing with Thanos. It's simply a part of his character and it was planned brilliantly.

Thanos is arguably 1 of the most successful movie villains of all time since he spent years preparing to achieve his goal & then he actually does it in a matter of days. In my opinion the only one more successful who is also mainstream would be Emperor Palpatine. The man lied and cheated his way to become chancellor of the galaxy with nobody suspecting a thing. Orchestrated a war where he was the puppetmaster of both sides, forced his ancient enemy into accepting an army designed to kill them, utterly eradicated that same enemy, and became the sole ruler of the galaxy with borderline no opposition. The only thing that did him in was when he got a little too cocky after about 25 years of being emperor. "So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause."

It's very easy to blame Star-Lord as being a big reason they lost the battle. But you have to remember, Strange saw all of those possible futures, and only ONE had a victory for the Avengers. You think he wouldn't do everything possible to ensure that that future was the one that came to pass? So then, why did he not focus some of his power into stopping Quill when he was confronting Thanos? And as you said, why would he sacrifice the Time Stone for Tony's life when, just a short while earlier (before viewing the possible futures), he'd said that he would sacrifice Tony and Peter if it meant keeping the Time Stone safe? Because it was part of Strange's plan. That was why he said to Tony, "There was no other way." They lost this battle, but now they have to find another way to win the war.

@9:11 even when the world is in trouble, Tony still lands the best jokes. The four lackeys that were with Thanos are the Black Order: Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, and Cull Obsidian. Remember when Nebula said to Gamora that she was the sibling she hated the least? The Black Order are also Gamora and Nebula’s siblings by adoption. @24:29, @34:47, and @43:40 lol hahahahahahaha!!!!!! Those who theorized about Red Skull returning were right. The army of aliens that attacked Wakanda are called Outriders. As Groot vanished, “I am Groot” in that moment was him saying “dad…”. If you look closely, Wanda welcomed death. At that point, she felt she lost everything. Spider-Man’s vanishing was the most painful to watch. Back in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tony did say that he’d feel responsible if Peter died and didn’t want that piled on his conscience. The Russo Brothers knew what they were doing. Spider-Man has been a fan favorite for years, and the MCU’s incarnation is a high school teen with a lot of potential. That’s why they made his death slow on purpose. Just before he vanished, he apologized to his mentor feeling he didn’t do enough to stop Thanos but he gave it his all.

Just so u know because it wasn’t really explained, that blade that vision kept getting stabbed with by thanos’ goon Corvus glaive is extremely powerful in the comics. Which is why it was able to do so much damage to vision.

So wrt Thanos's idealogy: it's easy to miss, but in the first GOTG movie, when they were all captured on Xandar, there were like character profiles. If you paid attention there, you would notice that Gomora is actually the last of her kind remaining. We know Thanos culled her planet "manually" (without the stones) and that was the effect. So him saying people are better off may be a misconception on his part, since I don't think he actually goes back to the planets he culled to check if he actually made a positive difference.

I will always blame Nebula for Thanos regaining control of that fight. Its 100% reasonable to assume Quill would’ve lost control of his emotions there, she shouldn’t have said anything in the first place until the situation was completely handled

in truth even if quill hadn't hit him they wouldn't have won strange said that there was only one possibility of victory and it's not the one + you forget that even if thanos didn't have them anymore he probably could have been able to collect them because none of the heroes present can use infinity stones

Vision really is one of the most powerful Avengers. His "skin" is made with vibranium so he's impervious to a lot of things. The thing is, Corvus Glaive's glaive is made from special materials and might even be enchanted. He really messed Vision up when he snuck up and stabbed him on the back with it early on. That weakened him for the rest of the movie.

Love this movie but even tho it´s called Avengers Infinity War, it´s not their movie, it´s Thanos´s movie, he is the protagonist in it. He is on a quest to do what he needs to, he runs into multiple obstacles along the way, he drives the story forward. Everyone else is just reacting to his actions.
@mikeburns3616

Saying vision isn’t as powerful because he’s able to be stabbed with a special metal that prevents phasing is like saying Superman is weak cause Batman fought him with kryptonite. They’re both extremely op in there own respective but they have to have a weakness of some kind otherwise it’s boring and a cope out card they can always use to win and the shows/movies become predictable

What Doctor Strange meant when he said “There was no other way” he meant that out of the 14,000,605 outcomes, Thanos winning is part of that one chance of them winning. That’s why Strange gave Thanos the time stone. Can’t wait for your reaction for Endgame! 😂❤

“I don’t even know what to say…” We didn’t know, either, man. People were shell shocked in the theaters during the end credits. When the pager lit up during the last end credit scene, there was a collective gasp of excitement, then everyone walked out in silence. It was such a surreal theatre experience. I think Saving Private Ryan had a similar experience, but really, this was just very shocking. I e didn’t expect it would be a two-part story where we waited a year knowing that Thanos WON, how were the remaining Avengers going to get out of it?!!!???

I always thought Hulk wouldn't come out because he got his ass whooped by Thanos and couldn’t take it mentally so he sulked like a child 😂 He spent 2 years as the Grandmaster's champion in Thor Ragnarok beating and killing everyone and was used to being top dog for too long. Getting beaten so easily by Thanos shattered his ego.

I figured it was either that, or Hulk was tired of being "used" by Banner. Possibly even a combination of both. Hulk mentions something about that back in Ragnarok, and Thor throws it back in his face.

As for your question, well if peace / prosperity tech advancement costs 3 or 4 billion lives then that is wrong and not worth the cost. When this film came out there was however a theory that Thanos was aware of massive threat that even he feared and was powerless to stop, and that was when the universe reaches a certain life saturation point harvesters would come to lay waste and harvest the life .... alll life, and so Thanos plan was to reduce the life by 50% and in doing so save the remaining 50%
