I believe Wynter. Look at how he treats LAMDC. Hardly no promo and he barely talks about them. To me, the last 2 seasons were better than LAMH. But he puts all his energy in LAMH. AND his reaction with Dr Heavenly appeared guilty

The problem for me is that if you brag that your money is "long" you need to pay your casts like it is. Winter got a raw deal, but I feel like there is a theme with CK specifically showing bits and pieces of a story to create a villain narrative for a certain kind of woman.

It felt extremely bias to me and she was leading Winter with the drama and to be negative quite a bit. It felt like the interviewer had an agenda and she never tried to see a different perspective. It would’ve been different if Winter was dating all of this on her own but the interviewer was leading her in a lot of ways. It was very negative and unfortunately, I was left still not knowing anything positive about Winter or what she actually does. She still managed to do herself a disservice, all she did was get a bunch of people who already didn’t like Carlos to agree with her but what’s next for her?

@@SeventiesLeo I heard Winter say she was in a hostile environment and the producer said for the men to get her. Queen Shiba did nothing but let her speak about her experience with the cast. If that makes Carlos look bad, he may want to change some things. Carlos shows are very toxic and he really does need to be exposed for allowing women to be treated this way. Thank you Queen Shiba for allowing Winter to tell what she went through.

Wynter has made a follow-up video on her own where she said she *will not* be on stage at Carlos upcoming live podcast in DC. In that video (posted in the past week), Winter shows parts of tge Queen Shiva interview and then provides more context and commentary. It is worth watching.

It is sad because in all honesty DC is the best show with real topics that he or any other network has. The Jaime story as a father raising a grown son, and a son with disability along with retiring as a cop was deep! Winter was a friend of the show season one, season 2 she really didn't have much to offer and to me was still a friend. She claims to have all of this business education but signed the contract. She shouldn't have brought Monique into the conversation about the money, that wasn't cool.

I agree, the salary is not unique to LAMDC. Heavenly caught him off guard. Money aside, Carlos suffers from the same problem as Andy and Shaunie - they want to be the boss and a star. He needs to take a page out of Mona’s book and step away from hosting all reunions and after shows. IDC how much he says he’s “friends with all the girls”. They are still employees and there needs to be boundaries. Part 1 of the reunion was so cringy. Legally speaking, he’s skating on thin ice with some of his questions/statements to the couples. Hopefully he’ll find a way to fix the problems with the cast as everyone deserves to be respected and compensated fairly

I watched the interview and Winter wasn't complaining about the pay. She was saying that the pay she was getting wasn't worth the trauma she experienced. She stated she agrees to do the show because it was a way to showcase her businesses, which brings her 6 figures.

She was not complaining about the pay. She was complaining about how she was treated on the show. Winter said Carlos and several other producers witnessed her being abused and they said nothing. She only brought up the pay topic because she stated the amount they were being paid wasn't worth the trauma she was experiencing on the show.

There's nothing wrong with a reality star making $2500 a episode. Latoya Forever said RHOA paid her about a $1000 for her first season. And unlike RHOA, LMDC ratings are horrible after their first season.

It would have been an awful idea for Carlos to respond to Heavenly by extending an offer to Winter to discuss the contract stuff at his event. That would put him on the hook to actually do it which he may not be able to by the network and I cant see how that conversation would paint him or OWN in a positive light

Winter wasn't complaining about the pay. She only brought up what they made because she stated what they got paid wasn't worth the traumatic experience she had from the men and the producers on the show. She said what she made from the show was change in comparison to what her businesses brought in. They pay issue was probably 5 minutes of an hour conversation about how CK allowed her to be abused without addressing the treatment.

I don’t see why it’s surprising. Even Jersey Shore only got 500 an episode for the first couple seasons. I believe it’s because the network wants to see they will potentially get a return on their investment. The ratings on this show is not that good and they haven’t been on that long. Winter just became a main cast member at that. I’m confused on why Winter thought she was going to get more money. But hey I digress. 🤷🏾♀️

$2,500 per episode seems reasonable for 1 day of filming….Its LMDC and Not REAL HOUSEWIVES/BRAVO. If Winter has a problem with it she needs to step her game up instead of staying in Ashley’s butt crack.

Kenya and Nene from RHOA on Bravo said they made little to no money for their first season (in their in depth interviews with Carlos) and not much in the next season. They wanted the fame that comes with being on tv.

@@KatVB462 Keep in mind the first season they filmed was 15 whole years ago, of coarse they weren’t paid much back then. Back in 2008 1k per episode was a lot for a new series just starting out.

The interview was great. The show was new and the people on the show was unheard of so, I’m not surprised by the pay however, splitting the season in two parts instead of doing season two and not allowing them an increase was bogus. But, if the show not getting ratings I don’t know what she thought they should get. Sadly reality is supposed to be real and they cussed her out that has nothing to do with production.
