The commentary on the DVD of Home Alone features Chris Columbus talking about John Hughes' vision for the third movie, which the studio nixed. In it, Kevin has grown up, and apparently a combination of his traumatic childhood and being a bad seed has landed him in prison. Meanwhile, Marv and Harry have been released from prison, and have decided that crime doesn't pay. They find jobs, wives, have kids, and move to the 'burbs, living in the same subdivision as neighbors. Kevin gets released from jail, blames the Wet Bandits for his life going wrong, and goes after them for vengeance. He's the villain of the flick and Marv and Harry are the heroes. Yes, John Hughes wanted to make that movie. This video fits perfectly into that canon, I think.

+KalvinEllis To be fair here, I think this kinda thing has been a long time coming for Culkin. Most child actors of his day and age /really/ got the short end from Hollywood. Look at what happened to Spears, or to Coleman, or God only knows how many others. Only in the last decade or so has life actually been getting particularly better for child actors. Mac is always gonna be one of my favorite actors in the world. I love him since the first time i saw Home Alone and Home Alone 2. I also like him in Richie Rich and Good Son movies. I read that he had problems with drug addiction. I was pretty much sad when I read that, just hope he will overcome this problem and start live a normal life. Go on Mac your fans are everywhere.
