Props to the animator (or animators) on really getting the 80s 90s mahou shoujo look. The framerate, the natural look of the linework like hand drawn cels...so often when people try to emulate older styles theres too much evidence of modern components it doesnt work, but this.... Really gets it⭐

Honestly the looped animation and sometimes simplistic moves they chose for the dances really makes it more authentic and appears more as an 80s anime than if they were to have gone all out on the animation. I totally love the vibe they got with this, and it makes for such a memorable video and song!

This whole trend of bringing back the 80s/90s vibes in music is honestly the best thing I could see in 2021. Seriously I love this video so much, and the Sailor Moon touches it has to it makes it even better.

The art style and composition really does bring back a sense of anime nostalgia I could find in older anime like Sailor Moon or even Creamy Mami for instance. It is very well done!

Ugh I am in LOVE with this animation style. Whoever decided to even make an animated music video in the first place and then have it mimic 80s anime deserves praise.
