I think this song clicks well with us because of the following 3 of various reasons: 1) Easy to groove to rhythm. Catchy but not too strong 2) Lyrics are about being in the moment and having a joyous upbeat time. A nice break from other songs about vices, being dirty or nasty or objectifying women. I can imagine this song about my best friend. 3) The chorus and "Yeah yeah yeah" part are sang in a group. Group vocals tend to render an upbeat and "let's-get-together-and-sing" communal kind of feel.
