Flood are even more deadly in the desert because the water has no where to go. It is not uncommon. People who live in desert areas have died lost their homes from floods

This is the first time I have ever heard or seen it flood. Didn't know the desert was capable of flash floods. If this happens every year, then city developers really did a bad job of not designing streets to mitigate deadly flooding.
