This is my bestfriends favorite song. She had to move schools, I haven't seen her in 5 months. I randomly thought of her today and broke down. I still have the gift she gave me for my birthday, I still have the jumper I got everyone to sign including her, I still have all the pictures of her, but the one that hurts the most is all is I still have all the memories that will never be relived. Becoming an adult and dealing with life challenges it's not an easy journey. Adulte life means taking your life in your own hands which is very scary. You have to make decisions less or more important and realising a few things from your past that are in fact hurtful and unhealthy. The lyrics of this song it's not about a litteral relationship with someone but with life (in my interpretation). My relationship with life it's like a toxic dance where you must be alert of any step you make, just one wrong step and life can screw you. Any choice you make life always wins,no matter what you do. It takes so much personal power, maturity and strength to know what you're responsible for, to know what you've done wrong and to admit that you can't control everything.
