@@Chance4 According to the soundtrack slip that was his decision not to mention he not only composed the music for the PSP release he was the director of the game.

That was actually just a remix of the Abandoned Factory theme, but I agree the composition sucks compared to the original.

I like the plot as well with Maki and her crisis and Kandori was a compelling villain

Yes so true, Hidehito music fit this game perfectly, I love Meguro work but it ruined this game with that soundtrack. So glad there is a hack for PSP version to have the original soundtrack.

actually the ps1 version (or Revelations Persona) isnt as hard as the psp port the devs lowered the encounter rate and made the enemies give more exp to help balance the game out (estoma was removed to compensate) I've played both version and while the psp version is much more refined the encounter rate is so much worse :

@@frenchyproductions9692 yeah that’s the one. iirc, in the Japanese version of Revelations, the encounter rate is identical to the PSP version, or at least a lot higher. They changed the encounter rate and increased the EXP gain in the localization in order to lower the difficulty.

@@RaifSeverence I think I just realized the gameplay was really not for me, I'm pretty impatient with JRPGs and the mazey dungeons and amount of battles were too much. I only wanted to play it for a little to get a feel for what it was like anyway. Love the atmosphere and stuff.

@@danieljarjarhuckstable7543 I have an ISO of the PC version. The .SEQ files in the game are just raw audio. You can change the extensions to .WAV and they play flawlessly in ffmpeg, or any music player.

og Persona 1 honestly has the best OST in the series. It's just as good as the SMTIV ost which is also godly. Like no matter what track you listen from this ost, from battle to dungeon themes, it will either be a banger or an immersive experience.

Yeah, P3 to P5 (and P1 Portable) have music that sounds mostly samey. P1 and P2 duology have a surprising variety of styles in their soundtracks.
