@@anarkali_217 ... today's show is the essence of Jessie's scientific work and from 'eating in the right order' next to always drinking 'Apple Vinegar' first depends the whole success for each individual. I don't think that can be said often enough. Just take a look at some of the questions that are asked: They are constantly repeated and it's only logical that Jessie has to repeat 'this essence of her science' ... right?

Outstanding! As a professional chef, no conspiracy... This is exactly why bread is first, free or unlimited! Restaurants don't always know why they do it. They thru time, learned people will eat more, and more likely order dessert. Over the last 50 yrs, salads were served first. People were healthier. Even today's weddings, banquets and get togethers. Salads are tecniqually served first... Nope! At the very beginning of the food line or table setting? Warm crusty bread or breadsticks served with butter. People will choose this almost guaranteed over salad. Ghrelin app is already there. Awesome educational video. I know you already know the information I shared. Very Nice Glucose Revolution!

I am a 31 year old female who recently got diagnosed with fatty liver (found out on march 6 this year ) with a history of PCOS. I literally practiced whatever she's saying in this video right since the next day after finding out and also combined it with intermittent fasting (12:12) and stayed out of processed food, sugary stuffs and take outs (i ate only home cooked food). For exercise, i did alternate days of weight training at home with dumbells and kettlebell. Today is 20th day. This is what i got in return: 1. Cravings reduced drastically. Of course you must not starve yourself completely and eat more of nutritious stuffs. I was not longer constantly hungry. 2. My energy improved a lot and my back pain reduced. 3. I lost freaking 3 kgs in 20 days. No fad diets, no supplements. Drink lots of water btw! Whenever feel like snacking drink water, or sip on herbal teas. I used to struggle with weight loss since a year. Only when i made drastic changes to diet, i am seeing results.

From my own life, I can affirm that this statement holds absolute truth and has had a positive impact on me. I inherited this practice without questioning its origins. In our culture, we traditionally begin meals with a salad, often attributing it to stimulating our appetite. However, I recently discovered that this practice has medical significance beyond mere cultural tradition. This newfound awareness has made me more attentive to the order in which I consume my meals. A heartfelt shout-out to you for sharing this valuable insight-keep up the good work! 👏🥗

Very interesting. When I lived in the South of France, for the main meals of the day - lunch and dinner - the items on the menu were presented separately. Typically, beginning with a green or tomato salad, crudités (mixed raw vegetables) or asparagus etc. with a vinaigrette, often followed by a cooked vegetable, such as petits pois, leeks, aubergines in tomato sauce, braised cabbage, spinach, lentils etc. Then protein in some form - meat, fish, egg, accompanied by something like potatoes or rice, the meal finishing with cheese and fruit. If the main part of the meal was something like pasta with a meat sauce, there would usually still be a salad to start with. Accompanied by a glass or two of wine, and freshly baked bread and finished with an espresso, for those who enjoyed their coffee. Then, of course, a short siesta and back to work. I don't think that this traditional way of presenting and eating a meal was based on scientific study, but it was just as much a part of the 'Mediterranean regime' as were the actual foods and overall preponderance of vegetables in the diet. I think that this way of eating may have been eroded somewhat over the past few decades, with changes in the working day and the move to a much shorter lunch break and also the fact that in two person households, both people often now work outside the home.

I have a family history of diabetes and I can tell I have issues with my blood sugar--a plethora of issues--all the things you describe is what I feel. I've more or less cut sugar from my diet as much as I can but I always crave sugar and even a tiny sweet feels like it's doing massive damage. I'm always tired no matter how much sleep I get and I feel awful everyday. I was convinced that regardless of all the effort I make, I'm going to end up with diabetes and be stuck on medication and never be able to enjoy food just like you said but now I feel super hopeful. I've been doing the exact opposite of what the studies instruct. I eat my veggies dead last but I'm going to try the correct order and see how I feel. Thank you so much! I'm going to share big time.

Today we start the same meal with 30% vegetables After eating the vegetables we can eat the mixture. If you have diabetes, eat less rice and eat it last. @@Amyscreativestudio No Amy, I have not been doing this protocol. I cannot eat broccoli or cauliflower due to them causing gastric distress and am limited in what & how much I can eat in a sitting. I am in the midst of GI testing so I am eating a very bland diet. The video just made a lot of sense and explained some of what I have experienced in the past. I may be able to try it in the future but I can't right now. I agree, the fiber would cause too much distress in my current state. About genetics: we often confound learned family habits with genetics. Eating badly is sth we often learn at home, and developing the same diseases as other family members thus stems from these shared behaviors, not genetics. Same goes for mental struggles or relationship issues etc. These patterns are transmitted. It´s a great thing to be the one who breaks the family curse by gaining awareness and changing to a more healthy and sustainable life 🙂. Merci Jesse
@sheilam4964
@sheilam4964 2 місяці тому
Yes I agree with you. This 'genetics' thing is only making things worse by confusing the facts. There has to be an outside factor that triggers the gene. Otherwise everyone with this gene or that gene would develop the issue it is supposed to develop and that is just not the case. The Outside Factor will only be isolated when the Researchers (the dummies) realize they need to look for it in their research.

Since the entire strategy originates from outside scientific studies, it is nice to know she took the time to verify the study on herself using real live glucose levels. Notwithstanding knowing each person is different and results will vary. Plus I already know that keeping glucose spikes to the minimum is the holy grail that allows insulin levels to stay low and inhibit fat storing and promote fat burning.

Wow! Something that strikes me is that this "good order" of eating the food seems to line up rather well with what seems to me to be a traditional French way of eating! That is, beginning with a vegetable-based starter, continuing with a main coarse that might not necessarily be very rich in starch but could be for example meat and green beans, then after that having some cheese and bread, and lastly a sweet dessert. I've only lived in France for a few months as a student 20 years ago though, but maybe others here can tell me if I'm right or not?
