@@rachaellouise2666 He helped me go beyond mind, 2007-2012 I read almost every book I could on zen and got frustrated by missing the point. I read his books recently and a few weeks later by remember awareness it all started to click within me.

Hi Just thought I would share my experience with you and whoever else wants to read I'm 38 years old up until a week ago I never really understood consciousness and presence a friend of mine introduced me to microdosing LSD 1/10 of an acid tab, 1day on 2 days off ... 2 weeks later I noticed a massive change in my very presence then I was introduced to Eckart tolle and doctor gabor mate they are the 2 most inspirational people have ever met in my life ,without dwelling on Self pity I have been grieving loss from a very early age, within 2 years I had buried my Nan my little sister my big sister my Big Brother and four my friends all at different times I have recently lost my grandad my Uncle and my mum I honestly did not want to go on living why ,?? for more people to be taken away from me! I was either dwelling on the past or worrying about the future never concentrating on the present , After watching doctor gabor mate's video on how Childhood trauma leads to addiction😯 I started to see things in a different light ,for the very 1st time in my life I can't help but think it was down to the LSD that help me to attain at higher level of consciousness much quicker and in turn helping me to realise that none of us are at fault for our addictions and Leading on from that I found Eckart tolle's book "the power of now" full audio on utube! ! they has changed my life! As unbelievable as this sounds I honestly believe for the very 1st time I have found happiness and joy within myself and I look forward to the next day❤👌🏻 Thank you very much eckhart tolle and dr gabor matte, have have both become my guru for the rest of my life AND REMEMBER, WE ARE NOT OUR MINDS WE HAVE BECOME SLAVES TO OUR MINDS WITHOUT EVEN REALISING, THINGS ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE AROUND HERE ! 🥳❤👌🏻

@@susan4yahshua Hi Susan, it's 2 steps forward 1 step back for me = progress. Slow and steady as she goes. It's like turning a giant ship. It can't be done all at once unless you are willing to let go absolutely and completely. ET says that sometimes losing everything (i.e. being locked up in prison for a crime you didn't commit) can be the greatest opening to awakening. I'm still attached to many "things" and "circumstances", so it's a gradual process for me. I recently started the ACIM lessons 3 weeks ago. Good luck!

This is something I have been realizing for quite some time and am learning to just let it be. No point in me reacting to their addiction to suffering. I just have to be there present for them unconditionally. Its hard, but I'm trying while also being kind with myself.

@@mountainserenity I have moments where I experience an awakening when being in the present moment. The way things change from there is that there is no worry or fear of anything because you know all is ok in the very moment. even in this pandemic and the crazy horror things happening around the world, I am at peace. We all ultimately have an ending. However that ending comes at different times and in different ways. Being in the moment you know you are truly alive. Its hard to put into words sometimes because things are experienced detached from form/conceptualization. you would have to experience things on your own to know how your life changes.

Well said, I have tinnitus too but also find the silence can be “felt”. Hard to express but I totally agree. It’s not important that you hear literal silence, it’s like an inner silence. I’ve even got water running sound in the background and it still doesn’t stop feeling the silence between words when he speaks

that is the purpose for spiritual practice. practice. perhaps for some it is ingrained, natural and sustained. I think that is unusual but you can practice toward it, that brings change in your consciousness. Everybody's different.

It hasn't been for me. I've experienced it sometimes, but life continues and challenges you. You could stay home and avoid life, but that is also a challenge.
