I think the reason that Ed's songs are so popular is that people feel that the lyrics are speaking directly to them. he really knows how to write a love song that connects with the heart.

I'm not a particular fan of Sheeran, though I listen to his songs every now and then and I enjoy them. That being said...one dude, one guitar, a loop pedal, and his voice. No fancy choreography or dances, no over the top costumes or clothes, overwhelming light effects or weird-ass behaviour/moves. Just him, his voice, a guitar, absolutely regular clothes you could find in any lad's wordrobe, and he fills entire fucking stadiums. Mad respect.

Tonight Ed has a show in Amsterdam for the first time in 2 years, I've been checking ticket sites for a month. Was behind my computer voor 5+ hours today and 2 hours on the day of the first sale. Ed Sheeran is my favorite singer not just because his singing is really beautiful and he's really talented but a few years ago when I was struggling with suicide and depression, and all kinds of other crazy stuff I couldn't believe was happening in my life, his music and tours all over the world really touched me and really showed me how beautiful life can be, and how you, no matter how hard or crazy life gets, you can change it into something that you never thought would be, I would also watch a lot of videos of why and how he was successful lol, he really started from the bottom and made his way to the top and really found his talent and to me that....that is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen or heard.

Just saw him in Stade de France 3 days ago and gosh. Fourth time I saw him and still can’t believe how talented this man his. Saw him in 2011 when almost nobody knew him in France, in 2015 and 2018 and again in 2022. Fame hasn’t changed him a bit, still the same. He still sings Give Me Love the same way in front of 88k persons. Best artist by far and forever.
