Paul McCartney was my number 1 singer-songwriter for 55 years. Then, Ed came out with Divide. That album pushed pUl in 2nd place, and Ed is my number 1 singer-songwriter. I've followed Ed since Plus, and he is so amazing. Love Ed so much!!!❤❤❤

THANK YOU Jamal for giving us the world this treasure. This song helped me with the loss of my two best friends. Albert and my dog 🐕🐶 onyx left me empty, and time makes it hard and even harder to except they won't be back. Saw him in Chicago and I cried a little bc this song means the world to me

I just LOVE how Ed nonchalantly puts you in your place about "why wasn't he more responsible why didn't he take care of himself"? Complete ignorance and insensitivity on your part. But hey, that's your MO....Ed, the ever professional, just accepts it and does this wonderful song justice.

I recently saw Ed in LA. Such a gift and a beautiful soul. “Eyes Closed” just hits me every time and whenever a song has that sort of impact, it becomes a integral part of me and I carry it with me on my life journey. Thank you Ed!❤️
