昨日、7歳の息子が自分の力でスカーレットをクリアしました。 突然EDでこの曲が流れてきて、息子にこのタイトルを教えてあげました。 息子はクリア出来た喜び、親は我が子が自分の力でやりきった喜びで、正に『Celestial !!』でした！

I love how this song isn’t just about any love story, but it’s about how Pokémon lit up Ed’s childhood. Authentic and addictive as always

As an introverted kid who didn't have friends at the time, Pokémon still made my childhood worth remembering, and to this day I occasionally play one of the many games, at 28. This songs means a lot to me. I was imagining all those Pokémon next to me as a kid too and seeing the Mewtwo movie scene really opened a Pandora box of childhood memories. I got emotional, thank you Ed.

Me and (now) husband had this as our wedding song for 2 reasons 1. We love the song 2. We're both Pokémon geeks so having a song that is low-key Pokémon it was just perfect ❤️ Thank you!

"You make me feel like my troubled heart is a million miles away" is by far my favorite line. I'm a 28 year old guy from the US. Played Pokemon since I was probably 8 or 9, spent a ton of time on it. The series was always with me, even into adulthood (though I took intermittent breaks periodically). Went through a lot of family issues growing up, music (playing guitar, bass, etc.) and video games is what I normally leaned on to escape most of it. Like most people, I grew very attached to the series, and harbor a ton of nostalgia for it. As an adult, I still play when I have time. A lot of people I've known never understood why I stick with Pokemon even as a grown man. They don't understand. The series and my music is what got me through the hard times growing up, and I could never give them up. The fact that this emotion and nostalgia that I've had is realized in this song- and literally what has been on my heart for so long being shared with the world in such a well executed song and production is just unreal. I cry everytime I listen to this song. I'm crying writing this comment. Thank you, Ed Sheeran. Thank you so much.

Reminded me of when I was a kid and played pokemon for hours. It was truly celestial. Pokemon will forever be in my heart.

This is an amazing song. I'm 29 and Pokemon Ruby was the first game that I played way back when I was a timid 12 year old. Played Sapphire, Emerald, Heart Gold, Fire Red and Diamond after that through most of high school and college. Pokemon got me through a lot of hard times in life. Watching this music video was a pleasant walk down memory lane. Thank you for this gem of a song!!!

Lots of people here due to Scarlet/Violet, this song fits the game's storyline really well.. I got Scarlet and the ending honestly made me emotional because of the loss I have faced in my life. This song is a resounding resolution to the series and how it has been the backbone to many people who grew up with the series. Also. Back when Pokemon was in its hayday (the mid and late 90s) they had a lot of very popular artists create songs for the movie soundtracks (they still hit). Honestly I'm really happy to see this part of Pokemon back, sorely missed and glad it was put to a game this time around.

the amount of nostalgia that hit me when listening to the song, watching the video.. Like it was only yesterday my brother and I played the games and battled our hearts out, became pokemon champions, filled our pokedex's... It's days that I'll miss and cherish and look back fondly on. Thank you for this, it's something I really needed. Words can not express the emotions I felt while listening to this. For a brief second, I was brought back to a time when I used to imagine Pokémon were everywhere. I wished so much as a kid that they were real. These games were the foundation of my childhood, watching and playing these games helped me escape to a reality much better than the one I lived. This song helped me relived that time when Pokémon was still new and exciting. I'm nearly 30 and Pokémon will always have a special place in my heart till the day I die. Everything here reminds a lot of us of what we grew up with in the 90s, and how blessed many of us were to have such an amazing childhood. Seeing that reference to the first Pokémon movie reminded me of when I saw Donphan for the first time and had my mind absolutely blown, as the presence of the internet wasn't really the same as it is today. We all imagined having our Pokémon by our side as a child, and I'm sure we all entertained the idea of actually being in the anime, getting into all kinds of adventures, and now Ed is doing it on our behalf. Bravo to another wonderful piece. I love it. ❤️

Just beat Violet last night and that ending brought me here. Not a perfect game but it made me feel like a kid again and definitely had a lot fun.

How sad and hopeful it is at the same time, how each storyline ties rather nicely within itself and each other, and to top everything, this music that is filled with emotion, as what I can tell by listening to it. I've been a long time Pokemon fan -- Pikachu was my first ever toy when I was a baby, now I'm turning 23 this December! I've followed the games from first generation up until the upcoming ninth generation, Scarlet and Violet, and have been the biggest fan of the anime! I beat the game last night and I looked up this song because of another friend of mine. The first time, I just cried. Tears were just flowing down my face. This is easily one of my top favorite songs now.

Just finished my playthrough of Scarlet and this song hit like a truck right in the feels! The story in this game was so good and the friends we made along the way made it all come together so nicely at the end, and hearing this song play during the credits legit made me cry
