they even made the cinematography to feel like an actual camera, blur, glare, movements (other camera terms i'm not knowledgeable enough) the transitions are crisp af too, they deserve all awards they won and more with this revolutionary animation of a masterpiece ✨💜

My take is a little bit different from yours actually, I think that in that frame, it shows that jinx is actually just powder in essence even though she's already older by that point because had so much trauma and couldn't decide on her true and final identity until the end of the show, if you get what I mean😅, but I think what you said also makes sense

well I dont think Powder being Jinx is a spoiler anymore coz u literally see it in the music video. I also think the music video is ment to be watched after the show.

my theory is that Jinx is standing behind Powder to watch over her because Jinx is kind of like a new personality Powder formed to protect herself since everything was just too hard for her to take in with the way she used to be when she was young

I also saw it as young jinx allowing older jinx to almost completely take control as a defense mechanism against all the trauma young jinx has faced. Hence why older Jinx is standing taller behind the younger in that shot.

I feel like he wouldn’t watch it tho as there are some lgbtq+ and a couple F words. He is Christian lol. BUT I AGREE WITH YOU CUZ THE SHOW IS JUST TOO GOOD😭💙it’s my favorite so I would want anyone to watch it

@@fireruby1882 I am a Christian conservative, and I freaking love this show! For the record, I did not pick up on the supposed LGBT vibes until I watched other reactors mention it. For me, they were two people who were forced to trust each other during a difficult series of events, which naturally led them to being friends. And that is how I choose to interpret it until it is definitively stated otherwise (though I do agree that is likely where they are going with it). Either way, it does not affect my faith, nor my enjoyment of the show. 😇

@@kevinmalone7167 Just wanted to mention that the reason the majority of people believe they are bisexual/gay, isn't just cause of their ''friendship'' as you see it. Assuming you remember the show since you really enjoyed it, during the scene that they go to a Brothel, where Vi first clearly flirts with her by pushing her against the wall, calling her cupcake and even calling her hot. But, the main thing was the scenes AFTER this. She asked Caitlyn very casually if she liked men or women, already showing that in this world being LGBT is just normal and casual. Then when Vi later returns after leaving Caitlyn on her own, we see a scene of Caitlyn clearly flirting with a woman in the brothel, giving her flirting eyes and a smile. That already is confirmation that at the least Caitlyn would be bisexual, why else would she be happy with a woman in a Brothel, something that she wasnt even required to do for her job. Ofcourse it is your personal choice to see them as a couple or as very weirdly intimate friends who give eachother bedroom eyes, BUT I did wanna point out that atleast Caitlyns sexuality has been beyond heavily implied to be atleast Bisexual, and it is a little ridiculous to expect a show to straight up tell you ''She is bisexual''? Just like you would see a movie where you see the male lead flirt with a woman at a bar, you automatically assume he is straight. You don't wait for the show to tell you outloud what their sexuality is and in general assume they must be straight (which is already pretty biphobic to always assume but I digress). It is just a thing I've noticed with many conservatives including non religious ones do, and don't seem to understand personally. Why is it necessary to get confirmation for a characters heavily implied sexuality in some shows, but always just assumed to be the case when it is about anything heterosexual? You see a man talk to a woman at a bar, assume he is straight without the show saying it out loud and never even think he could be bisexual. But you see a woman flirt with a brothel worker who is a woman, give her bedroom eyes and a smile and not taking her eyes off her, but assume she is straight. It is just a bit hypocritical and odd. Though I'm glad everyone enjoys the show :)

@@yulana990 I would disagree that it is phobic, as that means "afraid" or "fear of". And yes, the majority of people in the world naturally assume straightness because 99% of people in the world are straight. That's not to diminish non-hetero people, it's just how things are. But to address the specifics of Cait's preferences; I, personally, know women who "flirt" with one another without being bi or gay. They regularly compliment each other on how they look, going even further than calling one another "hot", and outright say they are sexy. This kind of behavior, again from my personal experience, is far more accepted in women than in men. This is why I see them as friends. That being said, it is also true that the longest lasting romantic relationships start with friendship. Most married couples (and here I am referring to hetero couples) are best friends, which strengthens the romance. I can't speak for non-hetero couples, as that is not my life experience, but I would assume that it is true for them as well. So, to wrap up, my life experience and worldview causes me to see Vi and Cait as friends until explicitly shown otherwise. This is not phobic, but natural. It is also not a condemnation of non-hetero pairings, either. As long as the characters remain well written and awesome, I don't care what they do in the bedroom.

Here's the thing, I'm going to ignore for a moment that Imagine Dragons are definitely sitting in Vander's Last Drop and not Silco's, because the idea that the Powder at the bar is just a regressive projection of future Jinx remembering better times is mind-blowingly amazing and absolutely my permanent head canon from now on.

YES! same spoiler alert and all, I was kind of mad when he said that he doesn't like them standing together, because he completely missed that Jinx is standing over Powder protectively. They are meant to appear separate that way.

Yooo that is in a really cool interpretation and actually makes total sense. Now that you say that I think it is true, because originally powder needed to survive so Jinx began to form but soon enough Jinx took care of everything and powder was not needed or super wanted which is how powder had always felt so she had let Jinx take control....maybe something like that haha
