Midas was a king in greek mythology who was so greedy that he asked the gid dionysos for a favor. Everything that he touches should become gold. Dionysos does that, but midas cant eat or drink now either because all food becomes gold. But there is also a greek mythology about medusa. She was so beautiful that poseidon raped her in athenas temple. To help her or to punish her athena gives her the power that everybody that she looks at becomes stone. Also the figure on the car looked quite like medusa. I think kiss of life mixed both storys in their music video

I’m not sure about who’s this MV’s director, but it was filmed in Thailand while they came for fan meeting here. All the props and shooting scenes are made by Thai company called ‘Art Camp’. They really create everything by hand sculpture which is really cool!!😊

their team has acted like they're a huge group since predebut. everything has been high quality with great concepts, planning, visual and performance direction. their team is literally amazing. idk about their company specifically, but their team cares so much about them and capitalizes so well on their talents and appeal. they really built a great brand identity that reflects their group name so well. i'm pretty sure in the next few weeks, they'll release another behind the scenes documentary which will share the visions of the group's creative director, mv director, choreographer, stylist, etc.

I believe they just entered the billboard hot 200 or something like that, which is honestly a massive achievement for a group from an unknown company😭 They’re also one of the best managed groups I’ve seen in awhile, their company obviously knows what they are doing, steadily building a strong fan base instead of giving up when the group isn’t an immediate smash hit. Also, it makes me so so happy to see the quality of this mv compared to their debut, you can see how much the group has grown

The story of King Midas is basically he gets to have one wish- he chose to be able to turn whatever he touched into gold to be richer. Turns out, food, water and people also turn into gold. At the very end, he climbs into a river and begs for forgiveness and gets it. I think the music video managed to reflect the story really well :)

the confidence of this group to be called kiss of life with the intention of providing a breath of fresh air to kpop and delivering on that concept. unmatched. i’m so hoping this comeback was their big break and they become universally loved because i enjoyed the music from their debut and born to be xx a lot

i LOVE the greek mythology references in this mv!! theres midas (obviously), but also mixed with medusa! whatever midas touches turns to gold, whatever looks into medusa's eyes turn to stone theres an arachne reference i think, in the beginning with natty and the web and also i think belle's set with the peacock seat gives off hera vibes; and julie's during the second verse and the beginning remind me of aphrodite i think midas touch means that whatever/whoever sees kiss of life will get the "midas touch"; theyll be so shocked theyre frozen forever

What I took from this MV is that the girls are suppose to be Medusa, all the snakes in the MV and lines like "I warned you with a single touch boy, try to run away, you can't escape me anyways" and later on they sing "Watch out The gaze that changed in an instant". When they look each other straight in the eyes, the guy turns into stone and Natty later on sings, when he's unconscious on her bike, "Baby I'm so toxic, The more dangerous the more fun it's alright"
