Yes, indeed, there are some cultural differences. But it doesn't mean you should put a ring already haha. In our culture, there are 2 types of intention while being in the first stage of relationships. 1st can be referred to as "playing game", and the 2nd one is starting a relationship seriously from the beginning (2nd is hella serious). It doesn't mean you should have already bought a ring, maybe after some time when each side are ready enough (1 year, 8 years, depends on ppl), yes, they have to get serious. Playing game doesn't consider appropriately by society if you are an adult. Ofc these are some cultural values, not all ppl consider these in their life (I am not familiar w/ scandinavian culture, sorry if some parts are already familiar). So basically she means that I am not here for playing games hehe

Well, I know one, 3 days after the first meeting, he wanted to put the ring on after a few hours, but she wouldn't. He didn't give up though, so she gave in after 3 days. And now 15 years later they are still together. Not married, but still together.

@@Hamiemu Good observation sir.I read that in another interview in comment section, someone from her country said that she understands and speaks english, there are people that follow her career much longer than me, so who am I to speak. :) And by the way, TIX once said: ,,The only language we need is love", so I believe if he wants to be with her that much, the language will not be an obstacle for him. :)

If I was doing an interview for all the world it would be helpful to have an interpreter even after years speaking the language, just to make sure you're understanding things correctly. A simple misunderstand/mispronunciation can cause a big headache. There's a big difference between speaking conversationally with friends and speaking publicly for the world. Even native speakers get confused and tongue tied under the bright lights.
