I must say this was a quality amateur contest. Both fighters showed tremendous heart fighting till the last bell. The lad in the red displayed a very aggressive approach landing significant shots to the head and also showed some great bodywork, which may be the reason as to why he had more gass in the tank as surely, the bodywork to his opponent must have had an effect on his stamina. He had a Nigel Benn style of fighting. Lad in the blue showed good skill and threw a great flurry of punches at the end of the first round. Props to both fighters great bout to watch 🥊🥊

I was Danny's coach at boarshaw abc when he was a junior along with a couple of others like Shabaz Masoud And Jack kilgannon and Zach Hall just a shame only one of them is boxing anyway before he started boxing for Centurions and he was still boxing for boarshaw ABC and all the juniors had one all their finals so they all had national titles Boys Club titles and it was the last year for him to try and get a junior title and I said to him you're going to have to win something pretty sharpish but everyone else is winning titles apart from you so you better pull your socks up then later that year he won the Junior abas then entered the seniors the next year and won that I didn't coach him as a senior or when he won the elite's but I like to think I had some input at the beginning of his amateur boxing journey FYI the head coach at Centurions Steve Walshaw didn't have any input with Danny from me he went to Ben Lancaster

He was forcing him one way the whole fight.. You have to be able to switch feet as a fighter. He was walking into rights. And getting him self trapped when trying to go right.
@russellmhembere50914 роки тому
Exactly. Blue corner lost the fight only because he had one rhythm the whole fight. He was getting too involved in trading too. The red corner was good at smothering shots when coming in and landing his own.
@russellmhembere50914 роки тому
Blue corner very rarely went to the body too.

@@xXAmightzXx Yes. His pro career was looking very promising but was forced to retire early from brain injuries.
