FYI: It's illegal to hunt inside the city limits of Estes Park. Deer, Elk, Moose, etc learn where it's safe to hang out during hunting season. It's great for tourists but bad for hunters. Estes Park and RMNP are great places to visit, especially late spring and early fall. Yes, Elk leave a lot of poop pellets.

I'm not much of a golfer, but I can't help but think that this could negatively impact your short game.

They are wild animals, thats how they run and golf course should not be an exception just because it is green man-made playground for rich people.

Our herds used to be massive and beautiful like this but somehow hunters figured out they existed and probably share info online. After ten years the numbers have dwindled so much. It makes me furious but nothing i can do. I've found illegal fires and a few (not all) hunters using totally unethical and illegal tactics. I just assume these people make the long drive every year whether or not they have a permit. There's like barely any elk left. Way to go.
