he basically took the sadness out of her and put it in himself.

These two are really great actors. Elle Fanning such a great actress, seen her in a lot of movies and she's so underrated. Justice Smith somehow is a revelation, this was his best movie so far. Damn, their chemistry was so unreal.

Spoiler Alert: I am upset about him killing himself. He saved her out of depression and he could not help himself, so sad.

I was hoping that he would sneaked behind her instead to find out that Finch died. I was saddened by that.

I cried so much towards this movie the beginning I was like this looks like some silly stupid teen movie but then later on you saw the sweet things he was doing the way he made her laugh the way she started smiling and opening herself up more the way he apologized with a bunch of flowers in his car the way he made her feel in the way he was helping her through the toughest time.But throughout all this he also needed that help he also needed that support she never got around the time to give it to him. Right at the ending when you see the police car coming and you see her just tearing up you know what just happened and I start bawling my eyes out embarrassingly crying but my heart hurts and I start just looking like a total mess because a silly movie just made me cry like no other movie before this story is so sweet so sad but I love it.I just want to voice my opinion anyways That’s was all

my mom passed away 3 days ago, I already miss her so much... This movie did make me feel better.

I read the book last year and it broke me just as the movie did and it’s such a beautiful film. I did notice the differences between the book and film but would’ve loved it if they actually met at the bell tower and at the end if she followed the maps first just like the book but what an amazing film

That blue hole is gonna make me cry again with this movie. I wish they changed the fate of Finch in ending here. I need it to be different from the book 😔

They changed a lot of little thing and added new little things and honestly the beginning was kinda disappointing because how and where they met was a pivotal moment and the movie had a lot of silent moments? Idk if thats just me but i love the book with all my heart and so idid enjoy the movie and it did make me cry.

I remember reading the book years ago when it was released, finished the book in school and i kept staring at the wall because of the ending and it just moved me. Now that I heard its on netflix, I’m just as happy as i got to read it years ago and it brought back so many memories. I cried both in the book and the movie ugh this is such a beautiful story

Honestly, I loved the movie more than the book. They changed and added a lot of things that appealed to me more. And the characters are made so endearing compared to the book. It made it easier to love Finch's character here, his attittude a bit toned down but loud at the right moments. The first meeting in the bell tower made it more personal and serious that it was only them, honestly if they did that in the bell tower with the spectators it would have diminished the theme of the movie and made it too much. They didn't add the mean girl highschool shit feel to it like some parts in the books.

i watched this right after the movie and i just cant stop crying the end is so horrible but at the same time so beautiful..

Yesterday night i saw the movie and literally i am not able to overcome the tear or sadness from whole night so now i am watching every interview of them together laughing so that i could make it even in me🎭.....looks like i have no work to do spent night watching the movie , doesnt sleep thinking about the movie and now whole morning seeing the interviews✔️⬛

I randomly picked up the book and read it-I was so touched and pleasantly surprised that there was a film as well. I won’t lie though, the film changed/left out some things which lessened the emotional impact, but it was still a good film. I definitely recommend the book though
