That was spectacular. Definitely one of the HARDEST routines on Strictly and one of the best Showdances I've seen. I'd still give a ten despite the tumble. But the score didn't matter because Ellie and Vito WON.

This woman was the only one in the final to take real risks with her showdance. That was insane! Not even just the lifts and I could talk about those for days but the overall power, finesse, and trust between the two of them. This was a showdance! I loved all of the show dances from the night but everyone else played it safe. Ellie and Vito took a massive risk and I am so glad it paid off with a win.

I’m by far more impressed with how she saved herself at the end then if she’d of done it perfectly, her quick thinking was more impressive than that lift could’ve ever been! Amazing! I don’t want her ever looking back at this and thinking she messed up or she wished she could’ve done better, she should watch this back and think damn I did THAT! Because Ellie honey… THAT SAVE WAS EVERYTHING! It’s already an iconic moment in Strictly history. My favourite from week one, so proud! 🩷

The fact that Ellie attempted the final trick whilst wearing 4inch heels is no mean feat in its self. Bravo Ellie ❤

Ellie apologising at the end of the routine, when she and Vito managed to save what could have been a disaster. Kudos to her for doing fantastic lifts that we havent even seen from the pro female dancers. She had no dance experience yet every week produced a high quality performance with Vito by her side as teacher and partner. Incredibly worthy winners.

Undoubtedly the riskiest and most wildly technical routine of the final with in-sync lifts galore, and to a very high tempo. I'd pay hard cash to see this again with them landing the final lift. Kudos to both of them for even attempting it let alone getting it 99.9% bang-on on the night.

Now THIS is a show dance! For the past few years it felt like most showdances have been pale imitations of one, they used to be so over the top brilliant and daring and that's what Ellie's was! Vito & Ella aka Vella OWNED!

It was SUCH a difficult choreography… It could have gone wrong in so many moments! What kind of faith U need to have in one another and what kind of partnership built to be able to perform like that…. WOW, I’m absolutely speechless and blown away! My favourites since day 1. Ellie, Queen, well deserved winning, BRAVA!! As I wrote couple of times before, Vito is an amazing teacher, choreographer and person. Such a sweetie, so happy for him too!! I believe that all female celebrities in future editions will pray to be paired up with him 🎉🎉

That could have gone so horribly wrong, so props to them both for saving that and I'm glad Ellie is safe. Besides the little mishap, I thought this was amazing! Vito really didn't hold back with the choreography and Ellie was truly fearless

I get the lift wasn't great, but how dod this not get a single ten? I don't understand, especially with the way they were all praising her. Thank god she won to make up for that travesty of a scoring. This was phenomenal! This perfectly embodies Ellie's entire journey. Her pure skill and technique. This dance made her my DEFINITE winner! I’ve been on team ELITO since week 1 and seeing this with all the most INCREDIBLE and most DIFFICULT lifts left me screaming at my TV! SO ICONIC! And yes there was that error with the lift at the end but she saved it and turned it into a different move and that just goes to show how FAR SHE HAS COME! so happy they won!!!

I think this still deserved a 40 because it was saved brilliantly, without the obvious wobbles it could’ve been part of the dance. She should be very proud of that performance! What commitment! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Edit: After seeing that they were supposed to finish like that minus the wobble, I still think it was exceptionally quick reaction and saved extremely well. To even attempt it is impressive.

For me this whole series has been magical. I have cried sooo much with Ellie's dances, bobbys, Annabel's etc. i think the professionals have been outstanding. I think that all the background teams deserve awards for making such a wholesome, watchable entertainment show. Oh and the judges and presenters who professionally help keep it all flowing too. Entering and leaving the lifts were as smooth as silk, it's a shame the last lift failed but it's a sign that Ellie is only human and it didn't make the routine any less marvelous. Such worthy winners, I'm so pleased for them.

She’s so good I feel like she doesn’t get the credit for her improvement as she was a pretty good dancer from week one. She has natural rhythm yes but she has to keep up with Vito which isn’t easy, he’s SO fast. And she has improved so much. The confidence she has now, I love it. She doesn’t even acknowledge him in some parts of this 😂 Well deserved winners 🎉

She was incredible, I have watched every episode ever broadcast of strictly, and the show dances used to be superb, until about 5 years ago, when they all of a sudden became really tame, and I did not enjoy, this was superb and brought back the proper show dance, hats off to Ellie, for trying and succeeding in an incredibly hard routine…..you had my vote from week 1, and a well deserved winner….and I am so glad the British public got it right this year….

This was the moment I KNEW she was the winner, this was a winner's showdance. The speed, the complexity of the choreography, and yet she made it look easy. Vito has often choreographed for Ellie to do a move on every single beat, and he went BIG for the showdance. I've actually not been wowed by a showdance since Ore, so seeing this was a total treat! I think Ellie landed awkwardly after that spin in the air, and she missed a beat when Vito extended his hand that made her panic going into the last lift. However, absolute props to her for recovering from there and still trying to land elegantly, it can't have been easy to react so quickly to get back to safety!

Score - *9/10* Aww that was such a shame as i think out of all the Showdances this was the one with the most potential for a 40. It was perfect until the end and yes it was still amazing for them to try it anyway I think it is the most complicated showdance ive seen in years it had so much going on. The lifts were breathtaking, there was so much here to have your eye on, there was so much energy and power at the beginning! The most confident I've seen Ellie all series which is why it seems sad to be saying it was a 9 for her because it truly was fabulous in so many ways, plus they blendecd the mix of songs so well it was just pure dynamite. Great routine once again 👑
