The only different with Mifi dongle is u need to carry a big satelite with cable. Speed is between 3G to 4G speed while moving?

I have it, it's incredibly good. I was on LTE before which was good enougn for 720p in the middle of the woods, the latency was about double what my starlink is. I average about 50ms. Before that I was on ROGERS fiber, which was really fast but had frequent outages. Ironically I had a more stable connection out in the woods, now it's just faster because of starlink. If you're a gamer I can confirm that both methods I used were good enough for multi hour long sessions daily for the past 5 months.

They have a wide spectrum so I believe they use a bigger wavelength during bad weather so the throughput is lower but there is no signal loss. Signal losses can happend because of trees or holes in the satellite constellation.

It can't be the same latency compared with fiber optic speeds, it's a shitty internet for people that can't have cable Internet . I'm surprised he has 65k clients, this is the proof that you can still sell old stuff dressed nice.

I think this is a very good service for example for everybody driving tankers on the oceans, miners of oil towers, fishers, mountain climbers or researchers, news providers, rescue teams, etc... They won't care 100 ms latency if they get even the half of the promised speed for this cheap price (compared to other opportunities).

Shitty internet? Not only is this still in Beta and not fully operational. The fact that you can be hundreds of miles away from cities and nearby towns and get Internet speeds that have averaged 150Mbs/250mbs with no data caps for only $99 is unheard of. Yeah it doesnt match fiber but realistically you only 150/250. 150/250 is good for most people. Anything higher then that unless you're downloading big HD 4K video/ big files constantly its just bragging rights.
